Just as news poured in that popular Twitch streamer Matt Staples had become the first member of partypoker’s brand-new Team Online, we now have more exciting updates coming in of new brand alliances. The second member of Team Online has been announced and its none other than Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic. While partypoker has added a new member to its squad, PokerStars bid farewell to yet another Team pro. This time it was Kevin Martin who saw his three-year long association with the Red Spade come to a close.
Kevin Martin Leaves PokerStars
Following the departure of Jeff Gross and Jaime Staples from the PokerStars contingent, the latest departee is Canadian pro Kevin Martin.
PokerStars has been known to often revamp its marketing strategies and lately it seems that the brand is trying to move away from the streaming community and Martin is latest Team pro to part ways with the global poker giant. Martin, who is perhaps best known for winning Big Brother Canada Season 5, was a member of Team PokerStars for about three years and in that span of time his fan and followers witnessed him hone his game online. In fact, he had a fantastic year in 2018 which saw him accrue over $200,000 in live cashes which included four tournament wins in Calgary and his biggest-ever live cash of $48,210 for finishing runner-up in the Run It Up Reno VII Main Event.
Martin tweeted about his separation from PokerStars yesterday.
After 3 years with @PokerStars my time as an ambassador for them has come to an end.
Really thankful they took a shot on me when I was just getting going with my journey. ? pic.twitter.com/cMtllob1F4

Following the reaction of his fans, Martin clarified that he willingly parted ways with PokerStars. “This wasn’t a firing; I left on my own accord.”
Nonetheless, as PokerStars continues on its path of ending its association with streamers, partypoker seems to be on the opposite road of forming an elite team of streaming poker pros.
Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic Joins partypoker’s Team Online
On the heels of Matt Staples induction into partypoker’s latest offering Team Online comes yet another announcement – Team Online will now also be represented by Australian-born online poker pro Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic.
Pavlovic, who is a resident of New Zealand, kicked off his poker career with a $400 starting bankroll. Overtime he has diligently sharpened his skills at the micro stakes and thereafter worked on his MTT gameplay.
His claim to fame was his streaming on Twitch in which he provided detailed analysis of his play. Pavlovic has often credited Twitch with helping him reform his game, while also appreciating the platform’s ability to allow the poker pro to freely interact with his fans and peers. Pavlovic’s Twitch currently boasts of approximately 40,000 followers.
Pavlovic announced his inclusion into Team Online on Twitter.
Proud to announce my signing with @PartyPoker Team Online. After grinding Twitch Poker for over three years, this is a special day for me. I can’t wait to showcase what PartyPoker have to offer. The content is just getting started. https://t.co/BwgEcLplN8 pic.twitter.com/bGGc7Trbdc

Commenting on his joining partypoker, Pavlovic said, “Signing with partypoker ranks as one of my proudest achievements. I’m stoked to represent a company that has strong ethics at its heart, and I can’t wait to help build the great game of poker.”
partypoker however seems far from done and we expect the site to unveil further new additions to Team Online in the coming days.
