PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh stole the thunder last night, and how! The Young Gun obliterated the 1,927-entry field in Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire to add a jaw-dropping ₹14.47 Lakhs to his already glittering poker resume.

Singh’s blistering Sunday night run also included a runner-up finish in the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Big Game for ₹8.88 Lakhs, bringing his total winnings to ₹23.35 Lakhs. This phenomenal performance saw him jump over Manish Lakhotia and PokerGuru Staking teammate Arjanveer Singh Chadha to grab the #1 spot in the annual rankings!

Prabhat Paliya chopped the Millionaire heads-up with Laksh Pal Singh, netting ₹11.89 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

Niharika Bindra was another familiar name on the Sunday winners’ list. The former APT Online title winner championed Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack for ₹5.96 Lakhs.

Armaan Kochhar (Won PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS#4 SuperStack for ₹4.45 Lakhs) and Manish Lakhotia (Won PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special – Progressive KO for ₹2.84 Lakhs) were the other headline winners. Lakhotia FT-ed another two tourneys, raking in ₹5.42 Lakhs total winnings, but it wasn’t enough to fend off the charging Laksh Pal Singh from dethroning him from the #1 position on the annual leaderboard standings.

Spartan Poker’s popular Millionaire tourney has over time become the Sunday showstopper on the virtual felts. The ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney kicked off on Friday, and by Sunday evening, it had registered 1,927 entries across five starting flights. The site filled in ₹3.65 Lakhs in overlays.

Day 2 began at 10 PM on Sunday with 283 runners (195 unique entries). After about six hours of intense play, PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh emerged as the latest Millionaire champion, banking an impressive ₹14.47 Lakhs (heads-up deal)!

The Gurgaon-based pro had championed the IOPC The Crown in February, collecting a personal-best ₹51.81 Lakhs. Since then, he had dominated the yearly leaderboard for six consecutive weeks, losing the ‘numero uno’ spot to Manish Lakhotia last Saturday. Singh’s thumping Sunday run not only brought him his career-first Millionaire title, but his runner-up finish in Adda52’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Big Game for ₹8.88 Lakhs saw him netting ₹23.35 Lakhs overall, pushing him up to the #1 position in the 2021 leaderboard rankings.

The Millionaire runner-up finisher Prabhat ‘Hondrick’ Paliya netted ₹11.89 Lakhs following a heads-up chop. This was Paliya’s second Millionaire FT finish. He had previously placed sixth in the ₹2 Crores GTD The Millionaire Legends in December 2019 for ₹6 Lakhs.

The former APT Sunday Major champion Niharika ‘nutcracker303’ Bindra was the last player standing as she took down the event for ₹5.96 Lakhs. Vinayak ‘haayegarmi’ Bajaj cashed ₹3.75 Lakhs for his runner-up finish. With this win, Bindra’s tracked online winnings have touched ₹69.48 Lakhs.

The Siliguri-based pro Manish ‘theoldestkid’ Lakhotia eventually came out on top to collect ₹2.84 Lakhs. Last week’s Sunday Special runner-up finisher, Suresh ‘Wabi-$abi’ Kolli, missed out yet again. He banked ₹1.93 Lakhs, while Sreekanth ‘LaganaHiToHai’ Narayan rounded out the podium finishers with a third-place finish worth ₹1.16 Lakhs.

Promising talent Armaan ‘Armaan007’ Kochhar took down the event for ₹4.45 Lakhs, while ‘anzzzz’ placed runner-up for ₹3.12 Lakhs. Kochhar now has ₹4.09 Crores in recorded online winnings.
