Event #22: $600 NLH Knockout of the ongoing 2021 WSOP Online Series was an exciting one, to say the least. The six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu was hogging all the attention down to the final nine players and it took two and a half hours for the final table to play down to a champion, with “Lastbullet” emerging as the victor!

The mystery user had started the final table in pole position and rode his chip lead to the finish line. He bested Ryan Basile heads-up to claim the WSOP bracelet and the $46,796 top prize!

In the hunt for his seventh gold bracelet, GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu entered the nine-handed final table as the fourth shortest stack and fell three places short of the gold.

The $600 NLH Knockout attracted 612 players that created a $342,720 prize pool.

The top 99 players received payouts. Some notables making it in the money included Jason “justanenigma” Wheeler (10th for $2,401), Adrian “sacakewalk” Sacher (11th for $2,401), Sachin “sachYOstack” Ramrakhani (17th for $1,542), the 2013 WSOP Main Event champion Ryan “BitC0in” Riess (31st for $1,058), Mike “Mkspresident” Shin (46th for $793), and the two-time bracelet winner Ryan “Adopt_aDogg0” Leng (76th for $596).

Final Table Recap

Short-stacked “shvszn” was the first player to be eliminated in ninth place.

Less than 20 minutes later, a battle between the only two former bracelet winners led to the elimination of four-time WSOP bracelet winner Jeff “NedrudRelyt” Madsen in eighth place. Mardsen’s pocket nines were no match for Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu’s pocket tens.

At the start of Level 35, Michael “PIEROGI” Ziemba‘s ran into Paul “rungood27” Scaturro’s . The latter flopped a set, dismissing Ziemba in seventh place.

Finishing in sixth place was Matthew “BraceletHUNT” Hunt when his failed to improve against “Lastbullet”‘s that spiked a pair of aces on the runout .

Soon after that, Ryan “hagzzz021” Hagerty was eliminated in fifth place by Negreanu.

Down to four-handed play, Ryan “badbeatbill” Basile’s knocked out Paul “rungood27” Scaturro’s . The board ran , busting Scaturro in fourth place.

Ten minutes later, Daniel “DNegs” Negreanu fell out in third place. “Lastbullet” raised to 345,678 from the button, and Kid Poker defended his big blind to see the flop. Negreanu check-raised to 691,356 after “Lastbullet” continued for 345,678. “Lastbullet” called, and the turn came . Negreanu jammed with and “Lastbullet” snap-called with . Both players had flopped a pair of queens, but “Lastbullet” was in the driver’s seat with his Ace kicker. The river was of no help to Negreanu, ending his dreams for the elusive seventh bracelet.

The heads-up between “Lastbullet” (7,776,127) and Ryan “badbeatbill” Basile (4,463,873) had the former staring out in a significant lead. The showdown lasted for another 24 minutes before “Lastbullet” was crowned the champion.

On the final hand, “Lastbullet” raised to 400,000, and Basile called from the big blind. “Lastbullet” c-bet 400,000 on the flop , and Basile came over the top with a shove for 2,773,873. “Lastbullet” called.

“Lastbullet” hit the diamond flush on the turn, and the river was inconsequential for Basile, ending his run in second place.
