We usually don’t say this often, but it was a blockbuster Monday on the virtual felts, with all the marquees successfully breaching their advertised guarantees!

The biggest guaranteed tourney of the day (and by some margin) was Spartan Poker’s ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal that crowned a champion in the current annual leaderboard topper Manish Lakhotia! Lakhotia took home an impressive ₹7.65 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Mayur Kumar Telangi (runner-up for ₹7.01 Lakhs).

Ashit Sharma, Atul Khurana, Harshit Jaiswal, Mohit Mehta, Ashish Kaushik, Ankit Saurabh, and Akshat Sharma were among the other big winners.

The ₹22,000 entry buy-in tourney drew 182 entries, collecting a whopping ₹36.4 Lakhs prize pool. The two-time Millionaire champion Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia, who had shipped PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS#4 SuperStack on Sunday, continuing his winning streak, took down the tourney for ₹7.65 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Mayur Kumar ‘Darthvader30’ Telangi (runner-up for ₹7.01 Lakhs).

Lakhotia has further extended his lead on the yearly rankings, crossing ₹1.26 Crores in annual earnings with this win.

Spartan Poker’s ₹4.5 Lakhs GTD The Flash managed to round up 647 entrants, posting a guarantee-busting ₹6.47 Lakhs prize pool. Sunday’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Mega Suits runner-up, Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta, rallied to the top of the field to claim a winner’s paycheque worth ₹1.06 Lakhs. A heads-up chop saw Ashish ‘intrcptr101’ Kaushik taking home ₹97,987 in prize money.

The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale on PokerStars India wrangled in 229 participants, generating a generous ₹5.72 Lakhs prize pool. The anonymous user ‘Sriko5’ took down the event for ₹1.01 Lakhs, just as Akshat ‘takingcuntrol’ Sharma came in second for ₹71,076.

The ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD Deepstack was taken down by ‘ANCIENT MARINER’ for ₹46,266. ’10SJS’ finished runner-up for ₹18,805. The event logged in 136 entries, collecting ₹1.70 Lakhs in the prize pool.

Spearheading PokerBaazi`s Monday MTT lineup was the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD The Big Show. The ₹2,750 entry buy-in event pulled in 307 contenders, generating a ₹7.68 Lakhs prize pool. Atul ‘atulkhurana’ Khurana championed the event for ₹1.69 Lakhs after besting Harshit ‘khooni31’ Jaiswal (runner-up for ₹1.18 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

Spartan Poker’s bi-weekly Monday feature, the ₹22,000 entry buy-in, ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal drew 182 entries on its latest run to collect a guarantee-crushing₹36.4 Lakhs in the prize pool.

Championing the Monday Highroller was the two-time Millionaire champion and the #1 ranked player on the annual leaderboard, Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia, who shipped the tourney for the second time last night for ₹7.65 Lakhs. On February 22, he had won The Big Deal title for the first time for ₹8.81 Lakhs.

The Siliguri-based pro had stormed his way to the top of the annual leaderboard on the back of a smashing Sunday night run, where he won PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack alongside a bunch of other deep runs, aggregating ₹6.67 Lakhs overall.

His latest win has pushed his lifetime winnings to 6.68 Crores (₹1.79 Crores in net profits). His annual winnings have crossed ₹1.25 Crores.

The 9:30 PM tourney got done at 4:13 AM today after Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta and Ashish ‘intrcptr101’ Kaushik decided to end the proceedings with a heads-up chop. Mehta got the title and a ₹1.06 Lakhs cash prize, while Kaushik received ₹97,987 for his runner-up finish.

Two weeks later, Saurabh championed Spartan Poker`s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Millionaire D’Lite for ₹1.63 Lakhs.
