The weekend vibe is electric. The India vs. New Zealand clash in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is on everyone’s minds, but Friday night belonged to the virtual felt arena, and Day 6 of PokerBaazi’s National Poker Series India 2025 was the epicentre of the action!

This ₹100 Crore guaranteed poker spectacle didn’t let up, firing off seven more events with a combined ₹2.95 Crores guaranteed. The ₹3 Crores GTD Mega Rush also roared to life, kicking off its first of seven qualifiers. Guarantees were more like guidelines. PokerBaazi didn’t just meet expectations; total destruction was delivered. A staggering ₹3.37 Crores was awarded, a 14% surge fueled by a mind-blowing 9,199 entries. Six days in, this poker series is already a legend in the making, with a jaw-dropping 61,568 total entries and over ₹20 Crores in prizes dished out across 42 tournaments—a feat that’s rewriting the history books of Indian poker.

The NPS India 2025 continues to be a star-maker, and Friday was no different. In an unprecedented display of dominance, two players each seized two medals in a single day – a first for the series. The leaderboards were a scene of their own. The established leaders are digging in, but the competition is closing in.

But the brightest star of Friday was undoubtedly Saahib Bawa. Bawa unleashed a performance for the ages in the NPS#40 Friday Freestyle, capturing his first-ever NPS Gold Medal and a career-defining ₹12.02 Lakhs. Snapping a six-month title dry spell, Bawa battled through a fierce field to bring home Delhi’s seventh Gold and soared to #7 on the State Leaderboard. Vishal Tulsyan, a true poker heavyweight, came incredibly close to a second career Gold, taking the Silver and a staggering ₹8.28 Lakhs—his biggest payout of 2025. Tulsyan wasn’t finished, posting four more deep runs for a total nightly haul of ₹8.92 Lakhs. This relentless aggression shot him up to #18 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and #9 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Bhanu Prakash KC, synonymous with leaderboard dominance, delivered a tour-de-force performance, collecting two NPS medals in consecutive events. He started his rampage in the NPS#37 Knockout (KO), seizing his first Gold of the series (third overall) and a cool ₹5.93 Lakhs (₹13,000 from bounties). Riding the wave, he almost made it back-to-back wins, finishing runner-up in the high-octane NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT just hours later. This near-miss still added ₹2.79 Lakhs to his winnings (after a heads-up deal), bringing his Friday total to over ₹9.15 Lakhs. These power moves have catapulted Prakash to #1 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard and #3 on the National Poker Champion India Leaderboard. His unwavering consistency also landed him at #4 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and inside the top 10 of PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year rankings, where he now commands the #9 spot.

Sunny Ahuja, a past NPS Gold Medalist, nearly tasted victory again in the Knockout (KO). He fell just short, claiming his first NPS Silver and a personal-best ₹4.17 Lakhs (₹12,000 from bounties). His momentum continued with two more deep runs, bringing his Friday earnings to over ₹4.42 Lakhs and pushing him to #5 on the Karnataka State Leaderboard.

Meanwhile, in the NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, Nitesh Katiyar played spoiler to Prakash’s double-Gold dreams, grabbing his own second career NPS Gold and first of the series. After seven final table appearances, the Kanpur-based pro finally broke through a six-month title drought, pocketing ₹3.25 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. His Friday earnings topped ₹3.73 Lakhs, catapulting him to #6 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Satyam Verma, another online force, made a major statement, winning NPS#41 (6-Max) SPRINT for his third career NPS Gold Medal (his first this series) and ₹4.66 Lakhs. Fresh off a near-win in The Endeavour, the Dhaulpur powerhouse added another small score, bringing his Friday total to ₹4.73 Lakhs and climbing to #2 on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard. Suraj Rathi continued his impressive NPS performance from Thursday, grabbing his second Silver of the series and ₹3.25 Lakhs in the SPRINT. Now one of only seven players with multiple medals, Rathi has rocketed to #5 on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

PokerBaazi Team Pro Laksh Pal Singh finally had his breakthrough, earning a Bronze (his first medal this series) in the NPS#41 (6-Max) SPRINT for ₹2.50 Lakhs—his fourth-largest NPS score. His consistent performance across seven events resulted in a Friday total of ₹3.24 Lakhs, boosting him to #5 on the Haryana State Leaderboard. With Singh’s success and Zarvan Tumboli‘s earlier achievements, Team PokerBaazi now proudly boasts four medals in NPS India 2025.

West Bengal’s Manish Lakhotia (Won NPS#39 DeepDive for ₹4.36 Lakhs), Uttar Pradesh’s Harsh Bhasin (Won NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive for ₹4.16 Lakhs), and Tamil Nadu’s Aniket Jain (Won NPS#36 Marathon for ₹2.49 Lakhs) completed the roster of Gold Medal winners on Day 6 of the NPS India 2025.

Three-time NPS Gold Medalist Vikrant Verma also had a Friday to remember, joining Bhanu Prakash KC in achieving that NPS India 2025 first—two medals in one day. Verma began with a Bronze in the NPS#36 Marathon for ₹1.34 Lakhs before flexing his PLO prowess in the NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive, finishing as runner-up for ₹3.93 Lakhs and the Silver Medal. Another deep run in the NPS#37 Knockout brought his total to over ₹5.47 Lakhs, extending his lifetime NPS medal count to five.

On the National Poker Champion (India) Leaderboard, Vikhyat Ahlawat, who took the lead on Thursday by winning his second Gold Medal, is still the player to catch with 20 points. Despite matching his score, PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli, with one Gold and two Silvers, remains in second place due to the tiebreaker rules. Bhanu Prakash KC has made a strong move, overtaking Mohit Bohra to claim the #3 position after grabbing the Gold and Silver last night.

Looking at the regional breakdown, Delhi continues its reign in the state-wide competition with a stunning seven Gold, nine Silver, and eight Bronze medals. Uttar Pradesh has surged to second place, surpassing Maharashtra, with seven Gold, six Silver, and five Bronze medals. Maharashtra now sits at #3, with six Gold, six Silver, and five Bronze.

On the NPS Series Leaderboard, Vinay Rajpal remains the frontrunner with 9,530 points from 36 cashes. Snehil Agarwal maintains his second-place position with 9,050 points from 30 cashes, while Bharat Vasan has made a big leap to #3 with 9,030 points from 32 cashes, pushing Zarvan Tumboli down to #5, behind Bhanu Prakash KC, who now sits at #4.

Over at Natural8 India, the usual suspects kept the stream of scores coming. Rajat Sharma, January’s leaderboard king, collected ₹8.63 Lakhs from deep runs in the Friday Night Fight 150 (3rd for ₹7.31 Lakhs) and Bounty Hunters Forty Stack 44 (5th for ₹1.32 Lakhs).

Sandeep Varma RS took fourth place in the GGMasters Classic 25 for ₹2.82 Lakhs, and the record-setting 2024 POY, Tarun Goyal, finished 46th in the Bounty Hunters HR 525 for ₹1.15 Lakhs, further extending his seemingly insurmountable lead in the 2025 POY race.

On Adda52, Lavesh Meena conquered The Ballers for the first time, banking ₹3.44 Lakhs and bringing his total Friday winnings to ₹4.58 Lakhs.

Himanshu Tomar, Kshitij Kucheria, and Omprakash Jureshiya also stepped into the winner’s circle, taking down the other marquees to cap off a Friday filled with non-stop poker action.

Here are the Friday highlights!

PokerBaazi’s 100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025 is shaping up to be legendary. Day 6 was like a brewing tempest, with seven tournaments flaunting a combined 2.95 Crores in guarantees, alongside the 3 Crores GTD Mega Rush launching the first of its seven qualifying heats. A total of eight events combined to create a perfect maelstrom of high-stakes poker action.

The guarantees seemed to be mere suggestions. PokerBaazi didn’t just meet them; they smashed them. 3.37 Crores changed hands, a 14% bump, driven by a dizzying 9,199 entries. After only six days, this poker extravaganza has already rained down over 20 Crores in cash prizes across 42 tournaments—a landmark achievement in the history of Indian poker.

The spotlight, of course, landed on the 1 Crore GTD NPS#40 Friday Freestyle, the fourth of 21 events in this year’s NPS India, boasting an eight-figure prize pool guarantee. This was one of those tournaments that make you cancel plans. It was where the heavy hitters and the hungry newcomers collided, a battle royale for NPS prestige.

When all was said and done, Saahib ‘Junta’ Bawa (opted out of our tracking) seized his first-ever NPS Gold Medal, and not just any medal, but in the day’s featured event! This victory also delivered a career-best payday of 12.02 Lakhs—ending a six-month dry spell in the most spectacular way.

A long-time online grinder, Bawa had been quietly grinding since his Daily Last Chance win last August. But he re-emerged in the grandest way possible. The 7 PM Friday Freestyle was the place to be, drawing in 545 players and exploding to a 994 total entries field, resulting in a nine-hour poker battle! Bawa expertly worked through this dangerous field, outlasting some of the toughest competitors to claim his first-ever NPS Gold Medal (his first NPS medal, period). This win also made him the seventh Delhi player to snag Gold, strengthening their dominance in the state-wide competition and launching Bawa to #7 on the State Leaderboard, sealing his status as the day’s top dog. Now, that’s the kind of Friday everyone dreams of.

PokerBaazi`s NPS India 2025 is where poker dreams are being forged, and Friday night spun another wild, untamed chapter into its history. Forget the usual suspects because Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (opted out of our tracking) isn’t playing the same game as everyone else. This guy is renowned for conquering series leaderboards, and he’s been doing it for nearly a decade with a relentless drive and stamina that seems almost superhuman.

Friday night, Prakash went absolutely nuclear. He didn’t just win; he seized two NPS medals – a dazzling Gold and a hard-won Silver – in back-to-back events, a feat of pure poker dominance. He’s now part of a seven-member-strong, elite squad at this series to clutch more than one medal. Vikrant Verma, surfing a similar wave of triumph, snagged a Silver and a Bronze for himself last night.

Prakash’s first target was ₹50 Lakhs GTD NPS#37 Knockout (KO). This wasn’t some quick skirmish; it was an over 9.5-hour, all-out war against a field of 610 determined players (creating a massive 1,220 total entries). The 4 PM flagship event, the second-largest showdown of the evening, turned into a chaotic battlefield. But Prakash, using just one entry, stood tall at 1:36 AM, the undisputed king. He grabbed his first NPS Gold of the series and a delicious ₹5.93 Lakhs, including ₹13,000 in bounty rewards.

This win broke a nearly seven-week-long flagship drought since his early January victories in The EndeavourLite and #BlockbusterLite. It’s also his third NPS Gold overall, adding to his trophies from the 2021 NPS#35 Knockout and the 2023 NPS#98 Saturday Slamdunk. This monumental achievement followed a close call in Day 3’s NPS#15 Slamdunk, where he finished a respectable sixth.

But the story doesn’t end there. A mere hour and a half after launching into the Knockout frenzy, Prakash fearlessly jumped into the NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT at 5:30 PM. He very nearly pulled off the unthinkable – two Golds, back-to-back. By 9:36 PM, after a lightning-fast showdown and a shrewd heads-up deal, he walked away with the Silver and added another ₹2.79 Lakhs to his already impressive fortune.

Prakash’s Friday wasn’t just successful; it was a thunderclap. He’s currently reigning supreme on the Karnataka State Leaderboard and comfortably occupies the #3 spot on the National Poker Champion India leaderboard.

And, true to his grinding nature, he managed to cash in nearly every NPS event of the day (slipping up in just one), raking in a mind-blowing ₹9.15 Lakhs+ in total. This phenomenal performance made him the second-biggest earner of Friday, only surpassed by Saahib Bawa, the NPS#40 Friday Freestyle champion. He’s now sitting at a powerful #4 on the overall NPS Series Leaderboard, boasting 8.85K points after cashing in a staggering 33 out of 42 NPS events. He’s also rocketed to #9 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard.

And to make things even more enticing, the NPS#37 Knockout (KO) delivered a juicy ₹1.20 Lakhs overlay, a delightful bonus for the players. With a ₹4,600 buy-in, the top 201 players were guaranteed at least ₹8,000. Plus, the tantalizing ₹12.20 Lakhs bounty pool meant every knockout was a potential gold mine. Day 6 of PokerBaazi’s NPS India 2025 is now in the books, and Friday was nothing short of a poker earthquake. Records weren’t just broken; they were pulverized. While new faces are constantly emerging, Friday night saw a familiar force reclaim his throne.

In the tension-fueled ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#41 (6-Max) SPRINT, Satyam ‘AnakinSkywa1keR’ Verma, the online poker powerhouse from Dhaulpur, and already a two-time NPS Gold Medalist, was on a mission. This wasn’t just another tournament; this was a rapid-fire, high-pressure showdown. And it was the perfect stage for Verma, a proven champion, to display his skills. After a December rampage with back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s WPT#39 Monsterstack and WPT#79 Premiere (PLO-6), a title drought – punctuated by a heartbreakingly close second-place finish in The Endeavour less than a fortnight ago – had only sharpened his competitive edge. Friday night, that edge was razor-sharp.

Satyam Verma
Satyam Verma

Verma came loaded, firing five bullets in the 8:30 PM flagship. Once he found his rhythm, there was simply no stopping him. He surgically carved his way through a massive field, outplaying and outlasting a staggering 630 other players (1,352 total entries) in a battle that was an electrifying blur, lasting an intense six hours and 45 minutes. The reward was his third career NPS Gold Medal (his first medal this series), further cementing his legacy, and a cool ₹4.66 Lakhs added to his already substantial career earnings.

This, combined with a small ₹6,900 cash in NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT (107th), meant Verma walked away from Friday’s battles with pockets over ₹4.73 Lakhs heavier. The result launched him to second place on the Rajasthan State Leaderboard. Ayush Goyal better watch out!

But Verma wasn’t the only one with a score to set Suraj ‘SurajRathi’ Rathi, fresh off winning a Silver Medal in NPS#33 Thursday Thunder and a near-miss fourth place in the NPS#34 (5-Max) Big Hyper SPRINT, was back for more. He displayed his resourcefulness, firing two bullets in the NPS#41 (6-Max) SPRINT, getting his first entry through a ₹345 satellite – a masterclass in bankroll management. That savvy move paid off big time. He grabbed his second NPS Silver Medal, a payday that saw ₹3.25 Lakhs flow into Rathi’s coffers – the second-largest prize of his burgeoning career. He’s now one of only seven players with multiple medals this series, and he’s steadily climbing the ranks, now holding the #5 spot on the Tamil Nadu State Leaderboard.

And while some were chasing redemption, others were seeking their first taste of NPS glory. If PokerBaazi Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli had been dominating the early headlines with his three-medal streak, his teammate Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh decided it was time to make some noise of his own. Despite a remarkable 24 cashes since the NPS India 2025 began, a podium finish had remained elusive until Friday. Singh, with unwavering focus, seized the Bronze Medal in the NPS#41 (6-Max) SPRINT, banking a not-too-shabby ₹2.50 Lakhs – his fourth-highest NPS career score, pushing him to #5 on the Haryana State Leaderboard!

Embodying the relentless spirit of the PokerBaazi Team Pros, Singh left no stone unturned, competing hard in all seven events of the day and cashing in five. His Friday haul topped ₹3.24 Lakhs. Nitesh ‘batmanpok’ Katiyar, the poker pro from Kanpur, has been on a mission. After tasting victory in the IPM#24 MonsterStack and IPM#91 MonsterStack in August, he found himself in a bit of a dry spell. Seven final tables had come and gone, each leaving him just short of the summit. Last night, the dam finally broke.

Nitesh Katiyar
Nitesh Katiyar

Katiyar, a former Adda52 Mega Millions champ, finally grabbed his second career NPS Gold Medal and his first of this series. He conquered PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT, pocketing a sweet ₹3.25 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.

This win was a long time in the making. Sure, he’s no stranger to success, having won his first NPS Gold Medal in the 2024 NPS#127 Deepstack Championship. But this one hit different.

The 5:30 PM NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT lived up to its name – it was a lightning-fast brawl. A stacked field of 1,138 entries (500 unique) squeezed into the virtual arena, all vying for a place on the podium. In what felt like the blink of an eye – just over four intense hours – Katiyar navigated his way to the top, adding another Gold to Uttar Pradesh’s tally. It was also his best score of the year and his second-biggest take-home pay from an NPS event.

Katiyar’s winning ways continued with a 54th-place finish in NPS#40 Friday Freestyle, netting him an extra ₹48,000. He finished his Friday night run with a little over ₹3.73 Lakhs, an impressive performance that shot him up to #6 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard.

Nitesh Katiyar’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52, PokerStars India and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.41 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.36 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #1 | Moves to #6 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 2 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹23.97 Lakhs

Then there was Bhanu ‘Chennaino1’ Prakash KC (opted out of our tracking). This leaderboard crusher turned Friday night into an exhibition, becoming one of only two players (so far) to claim two NPS medals in a single, glorious day in this series.

Bhanu Prakash KC
Bhanu Prakash KC

Prakash’s incredible run started in the NPS#37 Knockout (KO). He locked down his first Gold Medal of the series (his third overall) and a hefty ₹5.93 Lakhs, with ₹13,000 of that coming from bounties. As impressive as this feat was, that wasn’t the end of his wins on Friday.

Just hours later, he added an NPS Silver Medal to his rapidly growing collection, placing runner-up to Katiyar in the lightning-fast NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT and collecting ₹2.79 Lakhs from the agreed-upon heads-up deal. He accumulated a head-turning ₹9.15+ Lakhs across six NPS events, instantly making him the day’s second-biggest winner. This amazing run catapulted him to the top of the Karnataka State Leaderboard and landed him at #3 on the NPS Champions Leaderboard.

But he climbed more rungs. Prakash also ascended to #4 on the NPS Series Leaderboard and broke into the top 10 of PokerBaazi’s 2025 Player of the Year rankings, now positioned at #9.

> 1st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#37 Knockout (KO) for ₹5,93,000* (₹13,000 in bounties)

> 121st in PokerBaazi’s NPS#40 Friday Freestyle for ₹18,000

Shatarup ‘RiverRat93’ Bhattacharyya also etched his name in the books, capturing his first-ever NPS Bronze Medal in the whirlwind that was the NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT. The third-place finish was worth a cool ₹1.88 Lakhs. Veteran pro Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall also reminded everyone of his skill, reaching the final table and claiming a fifth-place prize of ₹1.01 Lakhs.

The ₹2,875 buy-in NPS#38 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT experienced a rare overlay of ₹1.55 Lakhs. This anomaly, a break from the norm in this series, added extra incentive for the 194 players fortunate enough to cash. A minimum payout of ₹5,100 gave nearly double the initial outlay, setting the stage for what is shaping up to be a firecracker of a weekend at the legendary series.

PokerBaazi’s NPS India 2025 is becoming a breeding ground for legends, where first-time champions are springing up everywhere. And the newest name engraved in NPS lore is Harsh ‘Tilty’ Bhasin.

Harsh Bhasin
Harsh Bhasin

Bhasin, a well-known competitor on PokerBaazi, finally seized his first-ever NPS Gold Medal in the intensely fought ₹25 Lakhs GTD NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive. He’d flirted with glory before, landing fifth in Monday’s NPS#14 (PLO-6) Megadive. But this time, fate had grander plans. This PLO specialist wrote a brilliant new entry in his poker story, grabbing his second title of the year – and by a long shot, the most significant one, outshining his recent (PLO-6) Daily conquest.

The 9:30 PM NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive was a full-blown poker explosion, the final NPS event on a high-energy Friday. The digital tables were overflowing, pulling in a diverse group from optimistic rookies to battle-hardened PLO experts. A massive field of 588 players swelled to an astounding 1,672 entries, fueled by the unpredictable nature of the five-card gameplay.

Bhasin, a former The Endeavour champion from last November, arrived with his focus set on that Gold. He was unrelenting, firing seven bullets after a string of initial setbacks. That “seventh bullet” hit the bullseye, powering him through a demanding 9.5-hour grind to seize the top prize – a magnificent ₹4.16 Lakhs, finalized after a heads-up deal. Bhasin’s persistence finally got what was coming to him, and he scored his sixth title on PokerBaazi and his second-best online score (only behind his The Endeavour victory last year). This win also added another Gold to Uttar Pradesh’s tally, and Bhasin now sits pretty at #5 on the UP State Leaderboard.

Harsh Bhasin’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹26.93 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹8.54 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #2 | Moves to #5 on the Uttar Pradesh State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹6.48 Lakhs

The climax of the NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive was a thriller. Three-time NPS Gold Medalist Vikrant ‘borntrouble’ Verma was hunting for a fourth. And Verma went all-in, firing a mind-blowing 14 bullets – that’s over ₹40K invested. He had to reach the final table, at least, to show a little something for his troubles, clearly showing how badly he wanted that win.

Vikranth Verma

The top spot might have slipped through his fingers, but Verma still collected the Silver (his first medal of this series) and a very satisfying ₹3.93 Lakhs from the agreed-upon deal.

But the plot thickens! Friday delivered an extraordinary accomplishment – two players winning two medals in a single day, a first for this NPS series. Bhanu Prakash KC may have grabbed the headlines with a Gold and a Silver, but Verma was close behind.

Before his late-night PLO heroics, Verma had already grabbed a Bronze in the NPS#36 Marathon, bringing his total NPS medal count to five. With another deep run in the NPS#37 Knockout, Verma’s total earnings for the day topped ₹5.47 Lakhs! These two medals have powered Maharashtra’s charge in their rivalry with Delhi and rocketed Verma to a hard-earned #7 on the Maharashtra State Leaderboard.

With this win, Puthussery etched his name as the first player from Kerala to medal in this series, and he now proudly holds the #1 position on the Kerala State Leaderboard.

Sony Puthussery’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.55 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹82.02 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #3 | Moves to #1 on the Kerala State Leaderboard | NPS Medals Won: 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze | Lifetime NPS Winnings: ₹12.95 Lakhs

Tukaram ‘tukiboy’ Kudnekar also enjoyed a breakthrough, finishing sixth in the NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive, turning his four entries into a cool ₹93,632.

The NPS#42 (PLO-5) Megadive was an all-out blockbuster, taking the crown as the day’s most successful NPS flagship. It exceeded all expectations, smashing its guarantee by over 67% and building a monumental ₹41.80 Lakhs prize pool. After firing three bullets, Saraswat walked away with a respectable ₹1.74 Lakhs. He made his climb to #8 on the Delhi State Leaderboard a clear display of his capabilities.
