In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Sunday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so hurry up and register if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet!

In March 2020, when we canvassed Anuj Yadav`s poker journey, identifying him as one of Young Gun’s, the 26-year-old engineer turned poker pro had come out as someone who preferred “mentally stimulating things.” Indeed, Yadav, who talked at length about experiencing flow state and focussing on only playing poker in a blog on Flow State last year, seems to have mastered the skill of balancing the math and the strategy part of the game. And like Young Gun Gaurav Sood over the previous two years, Yadav has dominated the annual charts for ten straight weeks, emerging as the frontrunner to win the 2022 POY title.

This week, Yadav added close to ₹8 Lakhs to his name, touching ₹1.96 Crores in annual winnings. The three-time The Millionaire champion is just a stone’s throw away from becoming the first player to cross ₹2 Crore in tracked annual winnings!

Young Gun Arsh Grover and PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja retain their #2 and #3 positions in the annual rankings, and they both had a spectacular run this week. Grover lapped up over ₹10.91 Lakhs – most of it from winning Spartan Poker`s SCS #20 – High – Sunday Celebration. Ahuja did just as well, adding over ₹10.27 Lakhs on the back of his impressive runs in the SCS #47- PLO High Roller and The Ballers.

The two-time POY title holder Young Gun Gaurav Sood returned to his favorite virtual battleground after an almost 10-day-long break post his marriage last month. He sits at #4 in the annual charts, and a good run in any of the flagship stops over the next few weeks could bring him back in the POY race.

Headlining the weekly charts is none other than the country’s first solo WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer, who won PokerBaazi`s #BB6 MoneyMaker for ₹17.50 Lakhs (his third-best career finish) last Sunday. In doing so, Iyer became the 19th MoneyMaker and cumulatively added ₹19.37 Lakhs throughout the week.

Hot on Iyer’s trails is the former APT India Online Main Event champion, Subhayan Das, who won the SCS #23 – High – Mega Celebration for a personal-best ₹18.61 Lakhs.

The former IOPC – The Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag Srivastava was another trailblazer who went on a scorching run this week!. Last Sunday, he won the BSS SuperStack and the Sunday Highroller and went on to take down his third title on Wednesday in SCS #45 – High – Wednesday Celebration. With ₹17.26 Lakhs in collective winnings, Srivastava comes in at #3 in the weekly rankings.

Note: Since we are in the first week of May, the weekly and monthly leaderboard standings are identical, and hence we have not canvassed them separately.
