Even though there wasn`t any eight-figure guaranteed tourney taking place this past week – something we have gotten used to recently – that is not to imply a dearth of high-octane action across the major poker platforms. Topping the weekly rankings happens to be one of the most popular names on the domestic circuit, Anant Purohit. The MTT reg ran past a 703-strong entry field in Spartan Poker’s ₹35 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack last Sunday to claim a ₹6.80 Lakhs top prize, cementing his place on the top of the weekly charts.
There has been no change in the rankings at the top of the yearly leaderboard with Young Gun Gaurav Sood extending his dominating reign by completing 26 consecutive weeks at #1 on the charts. Young Gun Arsh Grover and MTT crusher Srihari Bang continue to hold on to the second and third spots, respectively.
Since this is the first week of November, the monthly rankings mirror the weekly standings.
