It`s a sizzling hot summer for Indian poker players who are neck-deep in arguably the busiest season of online MTTs across the domestic sites ever!
As we have been doing for almost four months now, we begin the report with an update on the online exploits of Young Gun Anuj Yadav, who closed out his 15th consecutive week as the #1 ranked MTT player in the country, and he did so it style. The winningest player of the year, Anuj Yadav, made away with a thumping ₹27.71 Lakhs across his weekly run and looks poised to repeat Young Gun Gaurav Sood`s feat from the last two years. Yadav went on a tear last Sunday, finishing runner-up to Aniket Waghmare in Spartan Poker`s IOPC #28 – Blaze for ₹19.26 Lakhs while going the distance in IOPC #29 – D’Lite to collect another ₹4.04 Lakhs – enough to take the #2 spot in the weekly & monthly rankings.
The #2 ranked Arsh Grover continues to trail Yadav in the annual rankings, and the Young Gun`s best finish this week was the ₹3.35 Lakhs he won in Spartan Poker`s IOPC #36 – Monday Spotlight for his career-second IOPC title. Grover sits with ₹2.08 Crores in annual winnings.
Like before, Ashish Ahuja takes the #3 spot in the annual rankings. The PokerGuru Ambassador featured prominently among Sunday`s standout winners as he won MPL Poker`s inaugural IPF Main Event for ₹17 Lakhs. Ahuja added ₹23.96 Lakhs this week, putting himself at least an arm`s length away from Mohammad Azhar`s aggressive advances.
Aniket Waghmare grabbed pole position in the weekly & monthly standings with a leaderboard topping ₹39.79 Lakhs in weekly winnings. The first-ever IOPC MASTERMIND won Spartan Poker`s ₹1.50 Crores GTD IOPC #28 – Blaze for ₹31.23 Lakhs, picking up his fifth IOPC title. He posted a third-place finish in the IOPC #56- Thursday Prime four days later for ₹3.55 Lakhs, accumulating ₹46.78 Lakhs in monthly winnings.
Young Gun Anuj Yadav and Spartan Poker`s IOPC #65 – Friday Spotlight winner Anurag Srivastava have worked their way up to #2 and #3 in the monthly rankings.
Like the monthly charts, Aniket Waghmare and Anuj Yadav occupied the top two positions in the weekly standings. Thursday’s IOPC #57 – High Roller champion Deepak Raina makes his debut in this weekly column, ranked #3 in the weekly standings.

Aniket Waghmare topped the weekly charts convincingly. The two-time The Millionaire champion, who holds the distinction of winning the first-ever IOPC MASTERMIND title, championed the week`s biggest guaranteed tournament, Spartan Poker`s ₹1.50 Crores GTD IOPC #28 – Blaze, for ₹31.23 Lakhs (his second-best career finish). Waghmare also made a close run to the title in the IOPC #56- Thursday Prime (3rd for ₹3.55 Lakhs), accumulating ₹39.79 Lakhs overall and ₹34.48 Lakhs in net profits.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav pulled out one of his characteristic super hot runs this week to take the #2 position behind Aniket Waghmare in both the weekly & monthly leaderboard rankings.
The #1 ranked player in the country, Anuj Yadav, fired up his most prolific run in Spartan Poker`s ongoing IOPC series. He finished runner-up in IOPC #28 – Blaze and did one better in IOPC #29 – D’Lite, filling in an impressive ₹27.71 Lakhs (overall).

Deepak Raina has been around the poker circuit for the better part of the decade, but given his lack of volume in online MTTs, this is his first appearance in this weekend report.
The former DPTXpress Main Event champion, Deepak Raina, scored the winning touchdown in Thursday’s IOPC #57 – High Roller, banking a career-best ₹20.65 Lakhs and his first online title in a very long time. But before he grabbed the title, he chopped the top payouts three-way with Harshad Barve and Jyoti Ranjan Nayak.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav’s hot Sunday run pushed him into an early lead in the monthly leaderboard, where he currently rallies behind Aniket Waghmare. One of only two players in the country with over ₹2 Crores in yearly winnings – ₹2.45 Crores to be precise, consolidating his reign as the #1 ranked player of the year.

The former IOPC – Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag Srivastava championed one of the biggest guaranteed IOPC flagships of the week – IOPC #65 – Friday Spotlight – for ₹10.30 Lakhs (his third-best career finish). He chopped the title heads-up with Young Gun Ujjwal Narwal.
Srivastava FT-ed several other flagships, adding over ₹24.27 Lakhs across his weekly run. This month, his consistent form has already earned him 6,802 TLB points, sprinting him to the top of the monthly TLB (points) standings.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav was back in BEAST mode this week, and how! He collected a whopping ₹27.71 Lakhs, consolidating his dominion as the #1 ranked player of the year.
Much of Yadav’s cache of breakout scores came on Sunday, when he charged into the finale of the IOPC #28 – Blaze, finishing runner-up for ₹19.26 Lakhs. Displaying his prowess, Yadav did even better in the IOPC #29 – D’Lite, winning the title for ₹4.04 Lakhs. The 24-year-old player has boosted his annual winnings to ₹2.45 Crores putting himself on track for a dominating run in the yearly leaderboard rankings.
