Young Gun Gaurav Sood, the winningest player of 2020, looks well on track to repeat the feat for a second time as he completes seven straight weeks as the #1 ranked player of the year. He added ₹11.44 Lakhs this past week, bringing his annual earnings to ₹3.59 Crores. With ₹1.77 Crore in corresponding profits, he continues to be the most profitable player in the country.

After a relatively slow start to the year, something that’s become a Gaurav Sood trademark, he burst into the top three annual rankings on March 8, after taking down the FTS #2 Kick-Off for ₹14.39 Lakhs. Sood finally took over the standings on August 12 on the back of his victory run in the WPT India Super Highroller.

Manish Lakhotia seems to have finally woken up from his slumber and has moved up to the #2 spot. His runner-up finish in the FTS #23 Highroller worth ₹17.43 Lakhs last Saturday has catapulted him above PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh.

Laksh Pal Singh might have slipped down to #3 in the annual ranking but is still ahead of teammates Ankit Wadhawan, Arjanveer Singh Chadha, Vishal Bajaj, and Kartik Ved – all of them in the top 10.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan was all fire and fury this week and powered his way to the top of the weekly and monthly leaderboard standings. Getting him there was his brilliant run in the FTS 3.0 Main Event on Monday worth a collective ₹41.67 Lakhs (two FT finishes). The 28-year-old MTT pro has notched up a little over ₹65 Lakhs in recorded winnings in September and boasts an incredible 16 FT finishes this month.

Young Gun Devang Yadav chopped the FTS 3.0 Main Event title with Wadhawan for ₹29.97 Lakhs and sits behind him on the weekly/monthly standings.

The INCOOP – 95 Highroller champion, Young Gun Sahil Chutani, rounds out the top three names on the monthly leaderboard.

Sanjay Taneja, who finished one spot behind Devang Yadav in the FTS Main Event, ranks third on the weekly leaderboard.
