Online Rankings: Devvrat Arya Tops the Weekly & Monthly Leaderboards; Rahul Jain & Sagar Choudhury Among Other Prominent Rank-Holders

In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). The second week of January started off slow but ended with a bang! With Spartan Poker’s IOPC January Edition, APT Online India Series on PokerBaazi already underway, and PokerStars India’s Winter Series starting on Sunday, it’s been a blockbuster start to the New Year.

Topping the charts is PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat Arya. He won consecutive titles on Spartan Poker (Destiny & IOPC#6) to lock in the top seat on the weekly and monthly rankings.

Overall, it was a great week for Team PokerGuru with PokerGuru Ambassadors Parikshit Dhall (won Spartan Poker’s IOPC#5 Ultron for ₹5.76 Lakhs), Kartik Ved (won PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹4.09 Lakhs), Naresh Veeravalli (won Adda52’s Maverick for ₹3.90 Lakhs), Laksh Pal Singh (won PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2.21 Lakhs) and Ankit Wadhawan (won PokerStars India’s Uppercut MAGIC Edition for ₹2.08 Lakhs), all shipping flagship tourneys.

Rounding out the weekly leaderboard is the inaugural Adda52 Big Game champion Rahul Jain at #2 and the Sunday SuperStack-The Elite winner Aryan Singh at the #3 spot, respectively.

The monthly rankings witnessed a bit of an upheaval. While Arya grabbed the #1 rank, Sagar Choudhury retains his #2 rank from last week. PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha has tumbled down two spots to the #3 rank.

PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat Arya went on a tear this week. He championed back-to-back tourneys on Spartan Poker, namely the ₹25 Lakhs Destiny for ₹6.63 Lakhs on January 13 and the ₹16.5 Lakhs GTD IOPC#6 for ₹3.70 Lakhs on January 14.

He also final tabled Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Sunday SuperStack (3rd for ₹2.67 Lakhs) on January 10, Adda52’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Mint (5th for ₹81,000) on January 12, and PokerStars India’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Highroller (8th for ₹23,041) on January 15.

Arya wrapped up the week with ₹19.27 Lakhs in net winnings and a profit of ₹13.42 Lakhs, securing himself the #1 spot on the weekly rankings.

Online phenom Sagar Choudhury retains his #2 spot on the monthly rankings from last week. He had an explosive start to 2021 by taking down Adda52’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions for ₹6.50 Lakhs and finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD The Elite for ₹5.55 Lakhs on January 1.

Even though it was a relatively lackluster week for Choudhury, his performance from the previous week was good enough for him to hold on to the #2 rank.
