Spartan Poker`s ongoing India Online Poker Championship 14.0 has been churning out big winners daily, causing a constant churn in the leaderboard rankings. The one player who has been keeping his sails high since the start of 2023 is Tarush Gupta (monthly winnings – ₹68.19 Lakhs)! The poker pro has dominated the January leaderboard for three weeks straight, working up quite the headstart in the POY race as he enters his fourth week ranked #1 in the annual standings. Gupta has opted out of our tracking, but we counted his weekly haul as at least ₹21.73 Lakhs. Given his remarkable consistency, Gupta is well-positioned to carry his lead to February!
If Aniket Waghmare (monthly winnings – ₹63.87 Lakhs) was lingering at #3 on the monthly leaderboard till last week, he has climbed up in contention. Waghmare cashed more than Gupta, adding a whopping ₹22.46 Lakhs. Following through on the IOPC #14 High Roller victory, the IOPC fiend shipped Spartan Poker`s IOPC #29 Sunday High for ₹17.31 Lakhs, also clinching our “PokerGuru Star of the Week” title.
The first The MoneyMaker of the year, Himanshu Arora (monthly winnings – ₹55.22 Lakhs), had a profitable week with ₹10.81 Lakhs in the bank. However, Waghmare`s terrific Sunday run saw him swapping the #3 spot on the January leaderboard with Arora.
The long-time poker pro Dhaval Mudgal (weekly winnings – ₹40.73 Lakhs, monthly winnings – ₹46.09 Lakhs) bagged the week`s single-biggest score last Sunday when he took down Spartan Poker’s IOPC #31 Blaze for his maiden IOPC title and a whopping ₹34.46 Lakhs up top. In addition to taking over the #1 position in the weekly rankings, the musician-poker pro stormed to #4 in the POY race.
Hot on Mudgal’s trail is Ashish Munot (weekly winnings – ₹39.34 Lakhs, monthly winnings – ₹44.98 Lakhs), who locked his second-best online score on Thursday, shipping Spartan Poker`s IOPC #107 Super High Roller for ₹31.94 Lakhs.
The country’s seventh Game Changer winner Anant Purohit (weekly winnings – ₹29.69 Lakhs), takes up the third position on the weekly charts.
