As we enter August, Young Gun Anuj Yadav has officially completed five straight months as the #1 ranked player of the year! This week again, Yadav took a relative backseat, adding about ₹1.75 Lakhs in online MTTs. While that`s kept the online phenom (annual winnings – ₹2.83 Crores) at #1 in the POY rankings for the 22nd consecutive week, competition is closing in.
Young Gun Sahil Chutani (annual winnings – ₹2.72 Crores) and Young Gun Arsh Grover (annual winnings – ₹2.40 Crores) retained the #2 and #3 positions on the yearly leaderboard standings.
The most profitable year of the year, Sahil Chutani, had another breakout week that saw him closing in significantly on Yadav. He whipped out an impressive ₹13.63 Lakhs in total winnings, most prominently taking down the Adda52 Big Game last Sunday for ₹12.94 Lakhs.
