Entering December, MTT players have been spoiled for choice with Spartan Poker’s Legend Poker Series, PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder Series, and Pocket 52’s Pocket Friendly Series running in tandem. The PokerBaazi hosted December The MoneyMaker on December 1, adding the extra punch to an already electrifying lineup of tournaments.

Young Gun Anuj Yadav (annual winnings – ₹4.18 Crores) looks dead set on closing the year on a high and packed in a weekly haul worth at least ₹25.28 Lakhs, officially completing 41 weeks as the POY frontrunner. His excellent run this past week made him the first player to cross ₹4 Crores in annual winnings, getting him more breathing space at the top of the yearly leaderboard standings.

The two best friends Ashish Ahuja (annual winnings – ₹3.89 Crores) and Arjanveer Singh Chadha (annual winnings – ₹3.67 Crores) maintained their #2 and #3 positions in the POY race. Ahuja added ₹18.66 Lakhs this week, while Chadha boosted his online tally by ₹15.92 Lakhs.

The G.O.A.T champion Rohit Kumar (monthly winnings – ₹95.14 Lakhs), the XXX #75 Main Event champion Shashank Shekhar (monthly winnings – ₹71.36 Lakhs), and the G.O.A.T runner-up finisher Puneet Sachan (monthly winnings – ₹70.72 Lakhs) closed November as the month`s top-ranked players.

We’re just four days into December. Hence we are skipping a separate section on the monthly leaderboard that was recently reset.

Thursday’s LEGEND #49 – High Roller champion Mahesh Shyamsundar (weekly winnings – ₹33.61 Lakhs) headlines the weekly charts for winning the Spartan Poker flagship for a career-best ₹23.25 Lakhs.

Gursimran Brar (weekly winnings – ₹32.54 Lakhs), who took down Spartan Poker`s LEGEND #25 Esteem last Sunday, takes up the #2 position, adding ₹32.54 Lakhs across his weekly run. The LEGEND #23 Sunday Magnate winner, Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani (weekly winnings – ₹28.99 Lakhs), comes in at #3 on the weekly leaderboard.

Yearly Online Rankings

1. Anuj Yadav

Yearly Cashes – ₹4,18,03,734

Yearly Profit – ₹2,26,08,738

Yearly Leaderboard Points – 43,824

Young Gun Anuj Yadav has made compiling this report very taxing for us by opting out of our tracking. Having already set a tall benchmark with his 41-week streak as the #1 ranked player of the year, Yadav had almost guaranteed himself the POY title by thrashing out an incredible ₹25.28 Lakhs (at least) across several standout scores (₹22.28 Lakhs in weekly profits), becoming the first player to hit ₹4 Crores in annual winnings.

The MTT phenom finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #49 High Roller (₹15.75 Lakhs) last Thursday and followed it up with two FT scores on Friday. The chances of anyone eclipsing Yadav`s record are diminishing fast.
