In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!

It’s a New Year and a new ‘Online Rankings’ update. Starting with a clean slate, this week’s ranking brought in a feeling of déjà vu, with several top-ranking players from last year making an early splash in 2021. Two names that stand out from the rest is the weekly topper Manish Lakhotia and the monthly topper PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha.

The duo had featured prominently in the December rankings, with Lakhotia topping the leaderboard and Chadha placing third. This week, the tables have turned somewhat, with Chadha topping the January rankings and Lakhotia securing the third spot. Sagar Choudhury slides in between the two, sitting comfortably in the second position.

Both Lakhotia and Chadha make a prominent appearance in the weekly rankings as well. However, this time around, Lakhotia is ranked #1, with Chadha following behind in second place. Anirban Das rounded up the top three spots, ranking #3.

The Siliguri-based MTT pro Manish Lakhotia has become a frequent fixture in our ‘Online Rankings’ feature. He ended 2020 as the December leaderboard topper and has continued his stellar run into 2021, topping the weekly rankings.

Lakhotia started the week with a bang, shipping Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack on January 3 for ₹5.31 Lakhs. He FT-ed two turneys on January 5, namely, Adda52’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Mint (4th for ₹1.15 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Sixth Sense (runner-up for ₹66,829) before landing another big score on January 6, winning PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride for ₹2.21 Lakhs.

With ₹13.99 Lakhs in recorded earnings through the week and a net profit of ₹8.45 Lakhs, Lakhotia dominates the weekly rankings. He currently sits on ₹5.56 Crores in lifetime online earnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha had secured the #3 rank on the December leaderboard by dislodging fellow Team Ambassador Ashutosh Balodhi last week. Like Lakhotia, he, too, has persisted with his spectacular form and stormed his way into 2021 with a bang.

Chadha posted four final table finishes this week, which included two title wins in PokerBaazi’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Summit on January 7 for ₹3.79 Lakhs and Adda52’s ₹22.5 Lakhs GTD The Ballers on January 8 for ₹5.76 Lakhs.

Chadha accrued ₹12.26 Lakhs in online winnings this past week, booking a net profit of ₹8.22 Lakhs.

Das went on a rampage this week, posting an incredible 13 final table finishes that included one title – PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD BSS Monster 6-Max on January 2 for ₹1.27 Lakhs.

Adding another six-figure score worth ₹1.59 Lakhs for placing second in PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Special – Progressive KO on January 3, Choudhury`s January tally touched ₹15.37 Lakhs, with a profit of ₹10.64 Lakhs.
