October might be drawing to a close, but the headline hasn`t changed. Young Gun Gaurav Sood is still perched firmly at the top of the annual leaderboard rankings. Today, the 25-year-old poker prodigy completes his 12th consecutive week as the country`s winningest MTT player, and this despite taking a 10-day break from online MTTs earlier in the month for a trip to EPT Sochi. The former dentist slid back into beast mode almost immediately after returning. If he had won The Elite last week, Sood championed the Godfather for the second time on Thursday, adding ₹9.34 Lakhs through the week. However, even if he were to hold on to his leaderboard lead for the remainder of the year, it won`t come close to the 34-week streak he posted last year.

That said, the competition on the annual rankings has intensified. Sood’s absence from online MTT`s has brought the #2 ranked Manish Lakhotia and #3 ranked Laksh Pal Singh within striking distance.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan, Young Gun Arsh Grover, and PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja rank #4 to #6 in the annual standings. If any of them go on to win the EndBoss tonight, the ₹1 Crore payday would be enough for them to dislodge Gaurav Sood from the #1 position in the annual standings.

Sunday`s Big Game champion PokerGuru Ambassador Mithun Mahesh and the runner-up finisher in the event, his stablemate Ashish Ahuja, dominate the weekly and monthly leaderboard standings, occupying the #1 and #2 spots, respectively.

This week’s The Big Deal champion, Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi, and the runner-up finisher in the month’s first The Millionaire edition Dhinesh Kumar take the #3 spot on the weekly and monthly leaderboard rankings.

1. Mithun Mahesh

Monthly Cashes – ₹39,45,738

Monthly Profit – ₹26,88,724

Monthly Leaderboard Points – 4,208

We’re three weeks into October, and former Millionaire champion Mithun Mahesh has dominated the monthly charts for the most part. Mahesh has already reeled in an impressive eight FT finishes and four titles this month, bringing his monthly tally to ₹39.46 Lakhs.

He boasts of titles like the BSS MonsterStack, The Mint, and The Big Deal in October. However, the Adda52 Big Game victory on Sunday catapulted him to the top of the weekly charts. The position won`t hold much longer unless Mahesh manages to make a top finish in the EndBoss. Given the whopping ₹1 Crore up-top, the leaderboard standings will very likely welcome some new names tonight once the EndBoss plays down to a winner.
