In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!

It’s been raining money on the virtual felts, and the week belonged to some of the most competitive pros in the circuit today.

The breakout run this week belonged to our first-ever Young Gun Nitish Gupta. The Kolkata-based player’s raw talent at a live PokerGuru Tour event (Goa) in 2011 was what had inspired us to start this series. And it’s been an absolute delight to see Gupta mature into a top-class player in the last decade. The former MoneyMaker champion earned the outright victory in the week’s biggest tournament, the ₹3 Crore GTD AOPS Main Event for a career-best ₹50 Lakhs. With his trailblazing win, Gupta rides high not only on the weekly charts but also displaced the GameChanger 3.0 champion Siddhanth Kripalani from the top spot on the monthly leaderboard!

The one name that has been synonymous with this report, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, retains his dominance on the annual leaderboard for an incredible 10th consecutive week. While Sood has pulled up a comfortable lead, the fight for the other spots is getting fierce. There were significant shakeups in the rankings this week with Anant Purohit climbing up to take the second spot. Surprise, surprise, PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja’s blistering run has catapulted him to the #3 spot on the yearly leaderboard.

It’s worth mentioning that Sood no longer remains the only player with ₹2 Crore-plus in annual winnings. Four other players have crossed that benchmark, namely, Anant Purohit, Ashish Ahuja, Srihari Bang, and Sanat Mehrotra.
