On February 1, he had donned the majestic IOPC Crown. A little over two months later, he upheld The Millionaire title. What a year this is turning out to be for PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh! The 25-year-old MTT pro dominated the annual leaderboard rankings for six consecutive weeks before losing the spot to Manish Lakhotia last week. That is before another breakout Sunday performance has pushed him back on top. In fact, he is now topping the 2021 profits charts as well!
But it isn`t just the annual charts that the Chandigarh-based pro is topping. Singh`s Millionaire win ensured that he reigns supreme on the weekly and monthly leaderboards as well! The icing on the cake is that Singh was also our “PokerGuru Star of the Week!”
The two-time Millionaire champion Manish Lakhotia made another strong showing this week but slips down to the #2 spot on both the monthly and yearly rankings.
The top-ranked player of 2020, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, is dangerously close to reclaiming the #1 spot on the annual charts yet again. He moved up two places to #3 in the annual leaderboard standings this week.
Laksh Pal Singh`s teammate at PokerGuru Staking Arjanveer Singh Chadha, was leading the April standings last week. However, the blistering runs by Laksh Pal Singh and Manish Lakhotia have relegated him to the #3 spot on the monthly charts. He`s also lost his #2 position in the annual charts, moving down to #5, although the competition is still neck-to-neck with a little than ₹60,000 separating him from Gaurav Sood at #3.
We are still in the fourth month of the year, and the competition, especially at the top of the annual leaderboard, has been nothing short of fierce. Already eight players have crossed the ₹1 Crore-mark in annual winnings (across domestic sites).
PokerGuru Ambassadors continue to dominate the MTT standings, with as many as five players from PokerGuru Staking occupying a top 10 rank in the annual leaderboard standings.
Even though Laksh Pal Singh (1st with ₹1.43 Crores) & Manish Lakhotia (2nd for ₹1.38 Crores) have somewhat pulled ahead over the others, there is an intense three-way battle currently waging between Young Gun Gaurav Sood (Rank #3 for ₹1.23 Crores) and PokerGuru Ambassador’s Ashish Ahuja (Rank#4 for ₹1.23 Crores) and Arjanveer Singh Chadha (Rank#5 for ₹1.22 Crores).
Coming back to the weekly rankings, Prabhat Paliya secured the #2 position behind Laksh Pal Singh, while Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi placed third.
Young Gun Kanchan Sharma (Rank#4 for ₹9 Lakhs) and Niharika Bindra (Rank#5 for ₹8.46 Lakhs) round out the top five places on the weekly charts.
