Online Rankings: Arikeri the #1 Ranked Player of the Week, Sood Retains Lead in the Monthly & Yearly Leaderboards

In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!

Another week of high-octane action saw Ravindra Arikeri clinch the bragging right of becoming the top-ranked player this week. Though it was anonymous user ‘dimaria7’ who banked the week`s single-biggest score of ₹22 Lakhs by shipping Adda52’s Full House Finale, since they are not registered to our leaderboard, the honor passes on to Arikeri. The latter netted a commendable ₹12.98 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

Young Gun Gaurav Sood‘s online exploits helped him retain the top seat in the monthly rankings for a second consecutive week, while he continued his domination of the yearly leaderboards for a 23rd week in a row.

Another Young Gun who deserves special mention is Arsh Grover for successfully surpassing the ₹3 Crores-mark in annual earnings. He became just the second player to achieve this distinction, after Sood. He, too, retained his second position on the yearly rankings, while Srihari Bang came in third for an eighth consecutive week.

Ravindra Arikeri topped the weekly rankings following his runner-up finish in Adda52’s ₹1 Crore GTD Full House Finale. Though he lost the title to mystery user ‘dimaria7’ who won the event for ₹22 Lakhs, Arikeri banked an impressive runner-up payday worth ₹12.98 Lakhs.

Some of his other exploits include winning Adda52’s Morning Adda for ₹12,457 and placing seventh in The Ballers for ₹67,500 on October 16. In total, he accumulated weekly earnings of ₹14.01 Lakhs with a net profit of ₹13.09 Lakhs.

Promising young star Armaan Kochhar has had a very eventful week. He picked up his second six-figure score of the week in Adda52’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Table For Six that he won for ₹1.39 Lakhs.

He clinched another ₹2 Lakhs by placing seventh in Adda52’s ₹1 Crore GTD Full House Finale on the same day.

This week, Sood added ₹3.87 Lakhs to his online winnings, taking his October tally to ₹41.12 Lakhs, with a monthly profit of ₹31.95 Lakhs.

He has completed 23 weeks at the top of the yearly leaderboard, and this week, too, Sood managed to post three final table scores. His biggest score this week came in PokerStars India’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Sunday Highroller on October 11, where he finished runner-up for ₹2.34 Lakhs.

He currently has ₹3.71 Crores in annual earnings, with a profit of ₹1.90 Crores, while his overall MTT earnings have touched ₹5.89 Crores. If Sood continues to power through, he will very soon enter the prestigious ‘₹6 Crores Club.’

Grover was in stellar form on October 16, where he final tabled two marquee events. He championed PokerStars India’s ₹12 Lakhs GTD Highroller for ₹2.38 Lakhs and finished runner-up in PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD Weekly HighRoller for ₹3.49 Lakhs, taking his cumulative earnings for the day to ₹5.86 Lakhs. His recorded online winnings have now reached ₹5.40 Crores.
