In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!
June ended on a high note with several big-ticket tourneys awarding massive prizes. For two weeks in a row now, relatively lesser-known players have dominated the weekly leaderboard. If it was Anurag Sangahi the week before, this week, Rohit Vaswani occupies the #1 rank on the weekly leaderboard. We only know his Adda52 moniker ‘rohitvaswani’ and still don’t have a picture for the player, but Vaswani was the talk of the poker town last Sunday after winning the ₹1 Crore GTD AOPS Full House for a whopping ₹21 Lakhs.
Finishing runner-up to Vaswani was the former Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni, and he is ranked second on this week`s leaderboard. Another well-known reg Sriharsha Doddapaneni occupies the third spot in the rankings.
Young Gun Gaurav Sood has featured on the cover of our “Online Rankings” report for seven weeks straight, and this week, he makes its eight times. The biggest online winner across domestic platforms in the country, Sood, is sitting with ₹2.44 Crores in annual winnings, ₹13.07 Lakhs of which he won this week!
Former IOPC Millionaire champion Anurag Srivastava retains his #2 rank on the leaderboard. At the same time, Srihari Bang displaced by PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha and Sanat Mehrotra to the #5 spot last week, has regained his status at #3 this week.

A regular on Adda52, Rohit Vaswani had sattied his way into the ₹1 Crore GTD Full House Finale last Sunday, turning that small investment into a sizable windfall. Outlasting a star-studded field of 1,972 entries, Vaswani beat seasoned pro Kunal Patni heads-up to win the title and a career-best ₹21 Lakhs.
While the win alone catapulted Vaswani to the top of the week’s leaderboard, he also final tabled the AOPS Cowboys to add a sixth-place score worth ₹87,500. Overall, Vaswani’s weekly tally reads ₹21.35 Lakhs making this the best week of his poker career so far.

Banker-turned-poker-pro Kunal Patni was in a winning frenzy this week, and final tabled an incredible nine tourneys. His most outstanding run was in the Full House Finale, where he finished runner-up for ₹12.63 Lakhs. Patni raked in another ₹2.11 Lakhs for his runner-up finish in the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Endeavour on PokerBaazi. With over ₹20.35 Lakhs in winnings this week, Patni sits in second place on the weekly leaderboard.

The weekly leaderboard has a new face this week, and something tells us we are going to be seeing a lot of him in future editions of this column. One of the most respected MTT pros in the country, Sriharsha Doddapaneni, chopped Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire last Sunday with ‘McFly’ for ₹14.79 Lakhs. Just four days later, he was back on the podium after winning the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Highroller on PokerStars India for ₹3.06 Lakhs. In all, Doddapaneni pocketed ₹19.20 Lakhs this week, profiting ₹18.09 Lakhs.

Though nowhere among the top performers last week, Young Gun Gaurav Sood was still sitting comfortably on top of the yearly leaderboard. Sood continues his domination, and this is his eighth consecutive week on top. He pulled up further ahead this week, and his standout performance came in Spartan Poker’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Destiny, where he finished runner-up for ₹6.03 Lakhs.
Sood final tabled four more events, his second big score coming in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Elite last night, where he finished fifth for ₹2.49 Lakhs. Currently placed fourth on the week’s tally of online rankings, Sood’s winnings in 2020 have swelled to ₹2.44 Crores.

Anurag Srivastava turned heads in February when he captured the IOPC The Millionaire Main Event title for a life-changing ₹60.34 Lakhs. The last few weeks have been rather uneventful for Srivastava, but that blistering February run alongside other past victories in the Destiny and AOPS Millions have kept him on the #2 rank on the yearly online leaderboard for the most part. Srivastava is very close to becoming the second player after Sood to cross the ₹2 Crore-mark in winnings in 2020 and is currently sitting with ₹1.94 Crores.

Srihari Bang had climbed up in the rankings after winning ₹25 Lakhs in Adda52’s ₹1 Crore GTD Full House Finale on May 24. It was a relatively quiet last week for him, and this allowed Sanat Mehrotra and PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha to overtake him, relegating him to the #5 spot. He bounced back with a vengeance this week, winning top honors in AOPS Millions for ₹5.99 Lakhs to storm into the top 3.
Winning ₹8.32 Lakhs this week, he is placed ninth on the weekly leaderboard. His 2020 tally stands at an impressive ₹1.88 Crores!
