Online Rankings: Shardul Parthasarathi Tops the Weekly Rankings, Manish Lakhotia Sits in Pole Position on the January Leaderboard

In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Saturday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!

With three mega online poker series running parallel to each other, it’s a fantastic time to be a poker player! And this week’s ‘Online Rankings’ feature is evidence of how high-octane the action has been this past week.

Sitting in the #1 position on the weekly leaderboard is Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi, with two back-to-back runner-up finishes (IOPC Highroller & APT Championship Event) that fetched him a hefty ₹31.61 Lakhs through the week.

The former Young Gun Sahil Chutani sits at #2 in the weekly rankings, while the IOPC The Millionaire United champion Siddhanth Kripalani rounds out the top three positions.

Sriharsha Doddapaneni and Young Gun Abhinav Iyer deserve special mention for shipping the IOPC Highroller (for ₹21.55 Lakhs) and the APT Super Highroller (for ₹20.72 Lakhs), respectively, and rank #4 and #5 on the weekly rankings.

The January leaderboard witnessed a heavily contested battle between the top three finishers, with a little over ₹1 Lakh separating rank #1 from rank #3. Two-time Millionaire champion Manish Lakhotia takes pole position in the monthly standings this week with ₹40.45 Lakhs in cumulative earnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat Arya, ranked #1 on both the weekly and monthly rankings last week, sits a very close second to Lakhotia this week with ₹39.67 Lakhs in recorded earnings. The weekly topper, Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi, takes the #3 position on the January leaderboard with ₹39.20 Lakhs in winnings.

The B. Tech graduate from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi, has quite the reputation of finishing runner-up in top-tier tourneys! And this week, he scored back-to-back runner-up finishes in PokerBaazi’s ₹40 Lakhs GTD APT#33 Championship Event (for ₹8.52 Lakhs) on January 21 and Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD IOPC#52 – Highroller (for ₹17.44 Lakhs) on January 22 – enough to push himself to the top of the weekly charts!

His biggest score to-date came in PokerBaazi’s Game Changer 3.0, where, yet again, he had finished runner-up for ₹26.49 Lakhs.

Sitting on a hefty ₹31.61 Lakhs in recorded earnings through the week, with a net profit of ₹24.13 Lakhs, he is ranked #2 in the weekly profits chart behind Siddhanth Kripalani. His current online scorecard stands tall at ₹2.88 Crores.

Former Young Gun Sahil Chutani takes the #2 spot on the weekly leaderboard with two big wins in Adda52’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD Mega Suits (for ₹7.20 Lakhs) on January 17 and Spartan Poker’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD IOPC#44 – Destiny (for ₹10.05 Lakhs) on January 20.

The two victories aside, the online cash game reg raked in a generous ₹5.62 Lakhs on January 18 from his runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD APT#22 Mini Main Event to collect ₹28.05 Lakhs in weekly winnings. He now has ₹2.15 Crores in lifetime online winnings.

Game Changer 3.0 champion Siddhanth Kripalani storms his way into the top three of the weekly rankings. The two-time Destiny winner added yet another achievement to his name by taking down Spartan Poker’s ₹1.5 Crores GTD IOPC#24 – The Millionaire United for ₹26.71 Lakhs on January 17.

The WPT India Super High Roller champion now has ₹27.48 lakhs in weekly earnings, just ₹57,064 behind Chutani. With ₹25.96 Lakhs in MTT profits this week, he ranks #1 on the profits leaderboard and sits on ₹2.65 Crores in recorded online earnings.

One of the most consistent performers on the domestic circuit, Manish Lakhotia, jumped up four spots from last week to claim the top seat on the January leaderboard after a double victory on Thursday.

The two-time Millionaire winner posted seven final table scores this week, with his breakout score coming in PokerBaazi’s ₹40 Lakhs GTD APT#33 Championship Event for ₹12.15 Lakhs on January 21. This was the Siliguri-based pro’s second time winning an APT trophy. On the same day, he also took down Spartan Poker’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD IOPC#54 Destiny IOPC Edition for ₹1.98 Lakhs, raking in a cumulative ₹14.41 Lakhs from the two wins!

His January tally stands at ₹40.45 Lakhs with a profit of ₹15.81 Lakhs, pushing his online scorecard to ₹5.82 Crores.

Last week’s monthly topper, PokerGuru Ambassador Devvrat Arya, drops down to #2 this week – although by the slightest of margins. Arya’s most significant score of the week came in PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD APT#13 Sunday Major on January 17, where he placed runner-up for ₹4.51 Lakhs.

Even though Arya did not win any tourneys this week, there is just ₹78,759 separating him from Lakhotia for the top spot on the January leaderboard. The PokerGuru Staking team member has accrued ₹39.67 Lakhs in winnings this month.
