In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Sunday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet, hurry up and register!

We’ve seen Manish Lakhotia and PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh jostle over the #1 rank on the annual leaderboard for months. As we sit on the edge of June, the Siliguri-based Manish Lakhotia retains his #1 position on the yearly leaderboard for the second consecutive week. Lakhotia added ₹7.51 Lakhs this past week, much of which came from his first title victory of the month, Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack Millionaire Bubble. He is now the only player on our tracked database with over ₹2.50 Crores in yearly earnings (₹94.51 Lakhs in net profits).

PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh and Young Gun Gaurav Sood retain their #2 and #3 spots on the annual leaderboard from last week.

The online poker action is blowing up in India and more so than ever before. With all top sites running massive guaranteed tournaments all around, we saw several well-entrenched players showcase their best this month. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan, for one. The player best-known by his online moniker ‘d00mtr00p3r’ has been on a blistering run in June. The Chandigarh-based pro has already bagged two flagship titles this month and final-tabled another eight events, altogether adding a whopping ₹60.83 Lakhs in monthly winnings and ₹39.11 Lakhs in net profits! He won his first NPS Medal in the NPS #30 Deepstack Championship before collecting a career-best ₹16.71 Lakhs for his runner-up finish in the NPS #36 NPS Super Highroller.

The #1 ranked player of the year, Manish Lakhotia, trails Wadhawan on the June standings, with Kunal Patni sitting at #3 on the monthly charts after a stupendous run in the two NPS Highrollers.

Kunal Patni won the NPS PLO Highroller and placed runner-up in the NPS Highroller, propelling himself to #2 in the weekly rankings. He has also moved up to #6 in the annual leaderboard standings. However, sitting above Kunal Patni on the weekly rankings is the cash game specialist Shashank Jain who denied Patni the NPS Highroller title on Thursday, winning a personal-best ₹20.31 Lakhs.

The Delhi-based Anmol Narang rounds out the top three on the weekly charts. The cash game reg joined the elite “Millionaire`s Club” last Sunday after winning the ₹1 Crore GTD ‘The Millionaire’ for a personal-best ₹17.42* Lakhs.

If titles are to be counted, Manish Lakhotia won only one to boast of in June – shipping the ₹17 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack Millionaire Bubble for ₹3.50 Lakhs on June 23. However, Lakhotia had already planted himself as one of the frontrunners on the monthly charts after his second-place finish in the DOPT Main Event on June 12.

Lakhotia has been consistent this month, and it shows. He has earned over ₹52.70 Lakhs through June to take quite the lead on Laksh Pal Singh on the annual leaderboard and sits at #2 on the monthly leaderboard.

3. Kunal Patni

Monthly Cashes – ₹49,50,507

Monthly Profits – ₹24,39,408

Monthly Leaderboard Points – 8,585

Kunal Patni has charted a remarkable climb on the annual leaderboard standings this month, moving up a good three spots up to take up to #6 on the 2021 leaderboard standings. Patni’s good run began with him winning his second Destiny title on June 9. It was Patni’s fourth title victory in the last eight days and proved to be just one of the five titles he has clinched in June.

Ten days after his Destiny win, Patni won the NPS #42 PLO Highroller for ₹8.02 Lakhs. However, his best moment was yet to come, and it did, on Thursday, when he finished runner-up in the NPS #72 NPS Highroller, booking a career-best ₹14.05 Lakhs! We are not counting the numerous final table finishes that this astute former banker picked up, but suffice to say that with ₹49.51 Lakhs in monthly cashes, and a hefty ₹24.39 Lakhs in profits, Patni has reasons enough to open a champagne bottle. But probably after the busy Sunday grind, which may very well give him more reasons to celebrate.

Yearly Online Rankings:

1. Manish Lakhotia

Yearly Cashes – ₹2,50,18,722

Yearly Profit – ₹94,50,847

Yearly Leaderboard Points – 45,645

The fight for the bragging rights of being called the winningest player of 2021 has turned into a fierce battle between Manish Lakhotia and PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal Singh. However, Lakhotia pulled ahead decisively last week when he raked in an eye-popping ₹36.86 Lakhs in weekly earnings. Knowing Singh, he could quickly snatch the lead again, but for now, Lakhotia stays as the #1 ranked player on the domestic sites, with ₹2.50 Crore in annual winnings.

June has been profitable for Lakhotia, who has accumulated ₹52.70 Lakhs in monthly earnings, including the ₹7.51 Lakhs he won this week. There are still five more days to go, but a power-packed Sunday that will see NPS flagships like the NPS Main Event, Golden Rush, Spartan Poker`s Millionaire play out, the dynamics on the annual rankings may change drastically.

Still the country’s leading player in terms of profits and the only one boasting over ₹1 Crore in net winnings, i.e., ₹1.28 Crores, Singh has managed to retain his #2 spot on the annual charts. That said, Singh now trails Manish Lakhotia by over ₹28.72 Lakhs and will have to really work up a decent Sunday score to close the gap.
