In this feature, we bring you to the top three weekly, monthly, and yearly performers every Sunday. These rankings are based on cumulative winnings (cashes). However, the rankings only include players registered to our online ranking system, so hurry up and register if you haven’t signed up on PokerGuru yet!
Mid-way into January, the leaderboards have already begun seeing some action. Since we are still in the first month of 2023, this online leaderboard update only includes the weekly and monthly rankings.
Speaking of the weekly and monthly leaderboards, one name stood out among the rest. And that is Tarush Gupta (monthly winnings – ₹29.76 Lakhs; weekly winnings – ₹23.04 Lakhs). Since the young pro is opted out of our tracking, we have had to manually assimilate his scores, and he made us work overtime by topping the weekly and monthly rankings! Gupta`s phenomenal run this week saw him winning Adda52’s Big Game and Spartan Poker’s The Elite and securing a runner-up finish in Adda52’s Maverick, giving him a nice leg up in the POY race.
2023`s first The MoneyMaker champion, Himanshu Arora (monthly winnings – ₹29.70 Lakhs), last week’s leaderboard topper, was poised to retain his top position but got edged out by Gupta by a very narrow margin, dropping to #2 on the January leaderboard.
WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant‘s (weekly winnings – ₹21.86 Lakhs) chartbuster Friday performance saw him netting ₹10.49 Lakhs in one swoop. He championed Adda52’s The Ballers and PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller, securing the #2 rank on the weekly charts.
Vishal Bajaj‘s (monthly winnings – ₹27.92 Lakhs; weekly winnings – ₹16.60 Lakhs) firecracker run saw him break into the top three monthly and weekly rankings.
The competition in the 2023 POY race is already heating up with the likes of the 2022 POY topper, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, and the two-time POY winner, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, sitting at #3 and #4 on the January leaderboard.

Tarush Gupta barrelled his way to the top of the weekly rankings on the back of a phenomenal weekly run that saw him shipping two flagships and posting a runner-up finish in another. Last May’s SCS #79 – High – Main Event champion started the week with a bang by taking down Adda52’s Big Game on Sunday, locking in a jaw-dropping ₹16.25 Lakhs (his third seven-figure online score).
He almost made it two-for-two on Wednesday when he made a bid for the Maverick but had to settle for a runner-up finish worth ₹2.94 Lakhs. He wrapped up the week with another title victory in Spartan Poker’s The Elite for ₹6.64 Lakhs.
With an impressive ₹28.80 Lakhs in weekly winnings (₹23.04 Lakhs in corresponding profits), Gupta finished miles ahead of his leaderboard rivals.

The poster boy of Indian poker, Aditya Sushant, has announced his candidature for the 2023 POY race in grand fashion! The WSOP bracelet winner was in brilliant form this week as he clinched three titles in two days and fired up another runner-up finish.
His heater began with a second-place finish in Spartan Poker’s Wednesday High Roller, earning ₹3.68 Lakhs. He followed it up by bagging away his first title of the year in PokerStars India’s Winter Series-37 [High Roller Championship] for ₹5.57 Lakhs on Thursday. It was on Friday when all hell broke loose as Sushant emerged victorious in Adda52’s The Ballers (for ₹5.29 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller (for ₹4.86 Lakhs), pocketing a whopping ₹10.49 Lakhs overall.
Sushant raked in an impressive ₹21.86 Lakhs (₹14.35 Lakhs in corresponding profits) across his weekly run, nabbing the #2 rank on the weekly leaderboard.

Vishal Bajaj rounds out the top three names on the weekly charts, netting ₹16.60 Lakhs (₹15.27 Lakhs in corresponding profits). Like Gupta and Sushant, Bajaj also won two flagships this past week.
His biggest score came in Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack, which he took down for a top prize of ₹8.98 Lakhs. He followed it up by shipping Adda52’s Maverick (₹3.18 Lakhs) and placing fifth in Spartan Poker’s Wednesday High Roller (₹1.54 Lakhs) on Wednesday, adding ₹4.85 Lakhs.

Tarush Gupta‘s scintillating run this week helped him edge past last week’s monthly topper Himanshu Arora by a slim ₹5,000 margin. While Gupta’s Adda52’s Big Game victory played a significant role in getting him the lead on the January charts, Spartan Poker’s The Elite win and runner-up finish in Adda52’s Maverick added to Gupta’s cache of ₹29.76 Lakhs (₹23.81 Lakhs in corresponding profits) in monthly winnings.

2023’s first The MoneyMaker champion, Himanshu Arora, lost his top seat on the January rankings by the slimmest of margins to Tarush Gupta, leading to the former settling for the #2 rank. Arora accumulated ₹4.23 Lakhs in weekly earnings, which included a runner-up finish in Spartan Poker’s Tuesday High Roller (₹2.89 Lakhs). While it wasn’t enough to retain his #1 spot on the monthly leaderboard, with over two weeks left, Arora has ample time to reclaim his lost lead.
