Leading Online Poker Brand partypoker Introduces Player Panel

Online poker platform partypoker has fast emerged as one of the sites to be reckoned with, in terms of offering a great playing experience. Looking beyond the promotions and the freebies that the site offers from time to time, the international giant has now gone one step further by introducing a Player Panel.

The partypoker Player Panel comprises of a select group of the world’s most respected poker players and partypoker’s own team of brand ambassadors. Together, they will be tasked to help improve the communication between the brand and the poker community, and advise partypoker on issues like player ecology.

“We have assembled a highly qualified team that contains some of the most respected and experienced poker players in the world. This elite team will help drive partypoker forward whilst ensuring that the interests of our players are central to our decisions,” said partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters, disclosing details of the Player Panel.

Alongside partypoker chairman, Mike Sexton, Team partypoker pros Ike Haxton, Patrick Leonard, Sam Trickett and Jason Koon are some of the members currently enlisted in the panel. partypoker has also roped in brand ambassadors from its ring-fenced markets, France and Spain, namely Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and Bruno Fitoussi.

Partypoker Managing Director, Waters added that he believed this is the right team to be involved in the Player Panel.

Reacting to joining the Panel, Grospellier said, “I am very excited to be actively involved in the renaissance partypoker is bringing to the poker world, live and online, for its players in the EU market.”

Brazilian player Joao Simao who had recently been inducted as Team partypoker pro is also member of the panel.

“I have had two amazing years with the company, and joining the panel gives me the opportunity to better understand their plans and the way that they work.” Simao said, adding, “It’s just amazing. I’m very proud to be part of the team and to provide support for players not just within the LATAM region, but throughout the world. It will be my pleasure to improve the poker experience for all partypoker players.”

Player Panel – Streamlining Equation With Players

The Player Panel will be primarily be involved in the following ways-

• Help shape partypoker’s policies and procedures for online and live events and endeavors
• Help take decisions on high profile collusion/ fraud cases
• Give insight and advise on cash game ecology, fairness and etiquette
• Help in development and optimization of the core poker product
• Work on software enhancements and improve the brand’s online offerings

In the recent years, partypoker has made commendable progress in improving its live poker tour i.e. partypoker LIVE by adding bigger guarantees and options like online play for opening days of the tour events.
