partypoker has roped in Dutch poker pro Marcel Luske (cover image) as its latest brand ambassador. Better known as ‘The Flying Dutchman’ in the circuit, the new face of partypoker is number one on the Hendon Mob all-time money list in the Netherlands with over $4,400,000 in live earnings.

Luske joins Team partypoker ahead of travelling to Las Vegas for the summer to play at the 2017 World Series of Poker. He will be sporting his new patch and will continue to play some of the biggest partypoker online tournaments.

Luske’s almost $4.5 million in cashes include more than 30 first-place finishes and two runner-up performances at WSOP events. In the 2004 WSOP, Lukse missed the final table of the Main Event by a whisker as he bubbled in 10th place for $373,000 in prize money.

Lukes will be joining the board that already boasts an impressive mix of players and includes the likes of Sam Trickett, Joao Simao, Patrick Leonard and Padraig Parkinson. Other ambassadors include former tennis superstar Boris Becker, former boxer Carl Froch and Brazilian actor Bruno Gagliasso.

Luske shared his excitement about joining Team partypoker in a press release and said, “I have been following the journey of partypoker for many years and have been playing in all the partypoker LIVE events recently. I look forward to being part of this new era with partypoker,” he said.

Adding someone with as much experience as Marcel to the partypoker team is very exciting,” partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters commented.

He has been in the poker world for a long time and is a respected name so it is a pleasure to see him join and support partypoker. I look forward to seeing Marcel turn back the years on the partypoker LIVE circuit!” Waters added.
