The winter season in Goa always brings with it a rush of tourists, and among them will be two international poker superstars – Patrik Antonious & David Benyamine. The duo will be visiting the coastal state next week to take part in a high stakes cash game festival onboard the Big Daddy Casino.

The Spartan LIVE poker room housed inside Casino Big Daddy will be the stage for the five-day-long high stakes cash game promotion that is slated to take place from November 13-17. Given the presence of such international stars, the stakes are expected to be high (for Goa standards)!

Poker in India has blown out to extreme proportions, and this has obviously brought with it a lot of international attention. In fact, Goa has been frequented by more than a few international poker celebrities in the recent past. For one, Patrik Antonious himself had made his maiden visit to the country this time last year to attend the 10th-anniversary celebrations of Delta Corp onboard the floating Casino Deltin Royal. Since then, others like Robert Michrachi and even Instagram King Dan Bilzerian have all come visiting Goa on their first-ever visit to India. Many will remember our report on Bilzerian, who was a special guest of Casino Big Daddy during the India Poker Championship comeback series in September. The social media sensation even put in a long session playing high stakes poker, where he reportedly won seven figures (INR).

The Spartan LIVE poker room will once again play host to two renowned names from the poker community. Finnish high stakes pro, former tennis player and coach Patrik Antonius along with French pro and former professional tennis and billiards player David Benyamine will both be flying down to Goa to attend the cash game festival starting November 13.

Antonius is a heads-up specialist and, apart from the Millions that he has won playing online, Antonius has accumulated a lot of TV-time playing on popular poker shows like Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Most will remember watching the most popular clips from the show where he played a pot worth $1 Million against Sammy Farha.

Antonius has over $12 million in recorded live tournament cashes.

As for Benyamine, the now high-stakes cash games player was forced to take early retirement from his tennis career due to shoulder pain. Not many know that at one point, he was among the top ten billiards players in France. Benyamine has been playing poker for decades now, having learned the game at the age of 12. The PLO specialist has racked up over $7 million in recorded live winnings already.

With these two poker heavyweights making their way to Goa, the live poker scene in the coastal state is sure to heat up!
