Pocket52’s Biggest-Ever Pocket Poker Championship Was a Smashing Success; ₹1.90 Crores in Cash Prizes Handed Out to 1,978 Players!

Pocket52, the rapidly expanding online poker network, recently wrapped up its largest-ever Pocket Poker Championship (PPC). The seventh edition of the PPC was an impressive festival, featuring ₹1.70 Crores in guaranteed prize money, distributed across 28 high-value tournaments from May 8 to 14. The series attracted a remarkable 13,402 participants and concluded with a massive payout of ₹1.90 Crores, benefitting 1,978 players over a thrilling week of poker action.

The series’ highlight event, the ₹35 Lakhs GTD PPC – The Bracelet, took place on May 14. The main event, with a ₹5,500 buy-in, attracted 669 entrants, out of which 103 were rewarded payouts.

Emerging victorious from this fierce competition was Neeraj Karn, who plays under the online alias ‘Pocroft.’ Karn who two tickets to the PPC headliner through Sunday satellites and skillfully seized the opportunity, securing a monumental ₹5.76 Lakhs prize and the title of the Pocket Poker Championship – The Bracelet champion, improving upon his previous best score 19 times.

In the midst of the PPC fervor, we introduced the PokerGuru Challenge 2.0, with 19 top regs stepping up to the challenge. Among them was Samay Singh Modi, a 27-year-old actor, model, and professional poker player, who accomplished two final table finishes in quick succession at the series, securing the coveted “PokerGuru Gold Pass” – tickets to Pocket52’s premium tournaments worth ₹30,000!

After accepting the challenge on May 11, Modi quickly earned his first final table finish in the ₹3 Lakhs GTD PPC#13 Pocket Brunch the same day, placing fourth and winning ₹21,000. He maintained his momentum, impressively finishing second the next day in the ₹4 Lakhs GTD PPC#17 Pocket Lunch, and pocketed an additional ₹56,000.

Other notable performers at the PPC were ‘gtobot‘ and ‘John_wick1399,’ both of whom claimed victories in the ₹15 Lakhs GTD PPC events, the PPC#19 Pocket Knights and PPC#23 Pocket Queens, respectively, securing ₹2.63 Lakhs each.

Among the winners of the lucrative ₹10 Lakhs GTD PPC headliners were ‘Alak20’ (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD PPC#3 Pocket Jacks for ₹1.80 Lakhs), ‘robust_fletchinder148_23926839’ (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD PPC#7 Pocket Bullets for ₹1.80 Lakhs), ‘Jigar_bntGEhtihx’ (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD PPC#11 Pocket Rockets for ₹1.80 Lakhs) and ‘deucehighcall’ (Won ₹10 Lakhs GTD PPC#15 Pocket Magnets for ₹1.75 Lakhs).

Two players, ‘entitled_himan81_25044861‘ and ‘nikku443‘, distinguished themselves by clinching victories in two PPC tournaments, accumulating significant winnings.

‘entitled_himan81_25044861’ emerged victorious in the ₹3 Lakhs GTD PPC#1 Pocket Brunch and the ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD PPC#10 Pocket Snacks, winning ₹57,300 and ₹46,250, respectively.

‘nikku443’ topped the ₹4 Lakhs GTD PPC#17 Pocket Lunch and the ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD PPC#26 Pocket Snacks, banking ₹76,400 and ₹47,750, respectively.
