Poker Central Releases Episode 1 of ‘Beyond The Rail’ Featuring Antonio Esfandiari

For poker fans, there is a new short-form documentary series on World Series of Poker (WSOP) to watch. Poker Central has released the first episode of ‘Beyond the Rail’ DocuSeries that offer an insightful, behind-the-scenes look at WSOP.

The episode features three-time WSOP bracelet winner and ESPN commentator, Antonio Esfandiari and his WSOP routine during the 2018 WSOP. It is now available on Poker Central’s video-on-demand subscription service PokerGO.

While the first episode featuring Esfandiari can be accessed on PokerGO’s YouTube channel for free, the remaining seven episodes will be available on PokerGO’s subscription service.

VP of content for Poker Central, Sam Simmons expanded on the essence of the show. “Beyond the Rail shows poker enthusiasts the intricate work of poker producers, the day-to-day humanity of the players themselves, and the sheer heart that everyone involved puts into making WSOP an annual success.”

“The 2018 World Series of Poker is behind us, but the entertainment continues as fans get more access to the tournament than ever before,” he pointed out.

The show has been co-produced by PokerGO and Primal NY, a production studio specializing in digital strategy, content creation and distribution.

“The team at PokerGO has provided incredible access and support for this project, which enabled us to do unprecedented things with Beyond The Rail,” said executive producer and president of Primal NY, Robert Conticelli.

“It’s the closest you’ll get to actually living the World Series of Poker. Primal NY’s style of filming was paramount to showcasing the atmosphere of this amazing event, giving viewers a sense of the real people on the ground at the WSOP who make it happen,” Conticelli added.

PokerGO has oft been labeled as poker’s version of Netflix and Poker Central has been known to showcase several highly popular original series on PokerGO. Original series coming up on PokerGO’s subscription service include ‘Super High Roller Club’ from Believe Entertainment and Kobe Bryant’s ‘Dear Basketball.’

Beyond the Rail is also one of the PokerGO’s original series and highlights some of the most important aspects that work up to make the WSOP the grandest of poker festivals every year. In order to take the viewer beyond the obvious, the episodes have featured people associated with the poker industry in different ways.

Following Episode 1, the subsequent episodes will feature co-executive producer at the WSOP, Dan Gati, 2018 Poker Hall of Fame inductee and co-executive producer at the WSOP, Mori Eskandani, poker pro Chris Moorman, Poker Central host and massage therapist, Drea Renee, food truck operator and fitness trainer, All American Dave, as well as lead photographer, Drew Amato.

In order to continue watching the series beyond the first episode, poker fans will need to sign up for PokerGO’s $10 per month streaming service.
