The stage is all set for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2018 and Las Vegas will witness the ‘Battle Royale’ from May 29 to July 17. Poker fans all over the world can now access the live streaming of a majority of tournaments and final tables on Poker Central from June 2 through July 14.
Just days after releasing their official live stream schedule which will cover the action on all 13 days of the Main Event and two days of the Big One for One Drop, Poker Central has now partnered with popular streaming service Twitch TVto bring live steaming on twitch.tv/pokercentral as well. Twitch TV is already covering close to 31 tournaments including 25 final tables with David Tuchman in the lead for commentating, poker pro Jeff Platt and a host of other Twitch poker commentators and poker players will join for guest commentary.
Sam Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central talked about the WSOP live streaming plans. “Year after year, our goal is to provide the highest quality poker content to as large an audience possible. To that end, we’re proud to work with our long-time partners at Twitch to produce and distribute additional coverage of the WSOP – the preeminent tournament series in all of poker.”
Twitch TV began covering poker tournaments in 2014 and since then, the viewership of poker tourneys has grown exponentially.
Poker Central has now released its schedule for live streaming WSOP events. The first tournament to be live streamed is the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better final table, from 3 pm (PT) on June 2 and the last to be streamed on July 14 will be the WSOP 2018 $50K High Roller No Limit Hold ‘em.
