Poker Masters Online: Linus Loeliger Wins Main Event, Alexandros Kolonias Claims the Purple Jacket

The 15-day-long 2020 Poker Masters Online series is now in the books. Culminating on April 26, it was Linus Loeliger who was crowned the Main Event champion. Alexandros Kolonias topped the Championship Leaderboard to win the prestigious Purple Jacket!

Loeliger outmaneuvered 77 players en-route to claiming his second title at the series, which also happened to be the much sought-after Main Event title. He defeated Giuseppe Iadisernia in the final showdown and ultimately walked away with the title and top prize of $1.09 Million!

Entering the final day of play, 28 events from the 30 scheduled had been completed with Artur Martirosian leading the Championship Leaderboard by almost 100 points. Although Martirosian managed a fifth-place finish in the final event of the series, it was Kolonias who won the last tournament to take first place overall.

Kolonias cashed 11 times in the series, including two victories (Event#7 and Event#30), one second-place result (Event#14), and two third-place finishes (Event#22 and Event#27). Kolonias’s results allowed him to amass 1,191 points, which was 143 points more than Martirosian in second place.

Benjamin Heath (7th for $60,562), David Peters (6th for $73,312), and Linus Loeliger (5th for $89,250) were among the notables who cashed the event.

The top 10 spots were assured payouts, and Vicent Bosca Ramon bubbled the final table, finishing 10th for $154,000.
