The Poker Masters Online (PMO) PLO Series currently underway on partypoker has lately seen some epic action. After Hungary’s Andras Nemeth bested an 81-strong field to win Event #2 High Roller $250K GTD for $126,686, it was Finnish poker superstar Jens Kyllonen`s turn to grab the limelight.
Kyllonen, who is widely considered one of the best PLO specialists in the world, had announced his retirement from poker in 2017. The online phenom couldn’t stay away from the virtual felts for long as he was among the 53 contenders that entered Event #3 High Roller $500K GTD! In the final showdown, Kyllonne locked horns with the start of the final table chip leader Jonathan Depa. After a fiercely fought heads-up that lasted for more than two hours, it was Kyllonen who emerged victorious and clinched the title for a $212,000 payday.
Rounding out the list of recent podium finishers was Sweden’s Bengt Sonnert, who bested a field of 63 entries to win Event #4 High Roller $250K GTD for $108,961.
NLHE specialist Andras Nemeth rode past 81 entries, including his heads-up rival, the legendary Viktor Blom, to capture the Event #2 High Roller $250K GTD title for $126,686.

The $10,300 buy-in tournament boasting a $500,000 guarantee was a reg-fest. A total of 53 players signed up to play, and Day 1`s play was halted once only six players were left.
Each of them was guaranteed $28,649.15, but all of them were chasing the Poker Masters title and the $212,000 first-place cash prize.
Eventual runner-up Jonathan Depa started the final table in pole position on Day 2.

Veselin Karakitukov was dispatched in sixth place by Andriy Lyuobvetskiy, who held a better top pair.
Start-of-day chip leader Jonathan Depa then went on to eliminate Eelis Parssinen and high stakes PLO legend Sami Kelopuro in fifth and fourth places. The knockouts helped Depa consolidate his lead over his two other opponents.
Kyllonen busted Andriy Lyuobvetskiy in third place with his pocket queens holding up against the latter’s jacks.
Kyllonen was the underdog at the beginning of the heads-up duel with Jonathan Depa. In what continued for a good two hours, the match eventually saw Kyllonen come out on top. He finally took it down with his hitting a full house of queens and eights vs. Depa’s turned two-pair with on the runout c1].

The fourth event on the schedule drew 63 runners, each ponying up the $5,200 buy-in.
The field featured the who`s who in the game with prominent names like partypoker pros Joni Jouhkimainen, Ludovic Geilich, and Sam Trickett, alongside Anton Suarez, Ben Lamb, Jesper Hougaard, George Wolff, Niklas Astedt, Jens Kyllonen, and Sami Kelopuro in contention.
In the end, it was Sweden’s Bengt Sonnert who took the event down after defeating Andrew Pantling heads-up.
