Just two days away from wrapping up, the PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) Special Edition is on its last legs and Day 6 saw four more events play out. Anirudh ‘flash1’ Reddy headlined the list of winners yesterday with his win in the PPL#28: ValueTown ₹15 Lakhs GTD event. He obliterated a 1,207-strong entry field and defeated PokerGuru Team Ambassador Gokul ‘Nygma’ Raj (runner-up for ₹2.13 Lakhs) in the heads-up confrontation, banking ₹3.04 Lakhs in the process.

Jimmy ‘jeeven’ Arora posted the second-biggest score last night when he took down PPL#27: ₹10 Lakhs GTD for ₹2.29 Lakhs. The other winners on Friday were Anant ‘Pro_Pro’ Purohit (PPL#29: PLO DST ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.63 Lakhs) and Abhishek ‘ketchup’ Kumar (PPL#26: 6-Max ₹2 Lakhs GTD for₹42,000).

Ankit ‘akj290’ Jajodia has toppled Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood to capture the pole position on the PPL Special Edition with 4,677 points which include 18 tournament cashes. Sood is now placed second with 4,509 points.

PPL#26: 6-Max 2 Lakhs GTD (RE) – PokerBaazi

PPL Special Edition Day 6 commenced with the PPL#26: 6-Max ₹2 Lakhs GTD which drew in 385 entries (181 unique and 204 re-entries). Abhishek ‘ketchup’ Kumar shipped the event after besting two-time PPL Special Edition title winner ‘dybalamask’ heads-up. Kumar pocketed ₹42,000 for his win, while ‘dybalamask’ collected ₹29,400 for their second-place finish.

PokerGuru Team Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘boomtlt23’ Singh final tabled the event, finished eighth for ₹5,600, while Vivek ‘Nutpeddling729’ Singh placed 41st for ₹1,120.

The PPL#27: ₹10 Lakhs GTD attracted 364 entries (192 unique and 172 re-entries) creating a prize pool of ₹10.92 Lakhs. Grabbing the biggest share of the kitty was Jimmy ‘jeeven’ Arora who claimed the title for a cool ₹2.29 Lakhs in cash prize.

PokerGuru Team Ambassadors Rony ‘bisadip176’ Chowdhury (15th for ₹13,650) and Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbaby’ Chadha (43rd for ₹6,115) also made ITM finishes.

Anirudh ‘flash1’ Reddy juggernauted to the top of the field and outperformed PokerGuru Team Ambassador Gokul ‘Nygma’ Raj heads-up to take down the title for an impressive payday of ₹3.04 Lakhs. Raj secured ₹2.13 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

Fellow Team Ambassador Faiz ‘AilaGaya’ Alam also made the final table and finished fifth for ₹76,584, while Vivek ‘Nutpeddling729’ Singh bagged ₹2,535 for his 102nd place finish.

The final event on PPL’s Friday roster, the PPL#29: PLO DST ₹5 Lakhs GTD, saw seasoned pro Anant ‘Pro_Pro’ Purohit outlast a 296-strong entry field which included the likes of Vaibhav ‘durrrr1310’ Saigal (runner-up for ₹1.14 Lakhs), PokerGuru Team Ambassadors Gokul ‘Nygma’ Raj (3rd for ₹73,778) and Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbaby’ Chadha (8th for ₹21,830), along with Siddharth ‘Siddonuts’ Pandey (9th for ₹16,354). Purohit took home ₹1.63 Lakhs in first-place prize money.

Other Team Ambassadors who also finished in the money included Faiz ‘AilaGaya’ Alam (14th for ₹9,768) and Jayjit ‘england’ Ray (20th for ₹7,326).
