PokerBaazi is considered one of India’s top poker sites and for a good reason. Not only has the site brought out a steady flow of high-value tournament offerings for players across stakes, but it has also been consistent in streamlining its offerings to cash game players.
Immediately after the India Micro Poker Series (IMPS) got over, we have PokerBaazi announcing an intensely mapped calendar for October.
Setting the tournament action on the right note for players is the announcement of yet another MoneyMaker edition. The tournament will make a single-day run starting at 7 PM on October 18, allowing players to partake from a ₹1 Crore prize pool at an entry buy-in of ₹11,000. This could come down to a paltry ₹550 for the satellite qualifiers.
The site has lined up some very lucrative offerings for cash game players. Starting October 5 and until November 15, the brand will be offering cash game enthusiasts up to 90% rakeback through the Baazi Rewards Program for six straight weeks.
Part of this rollout is the brand’s popular Cash Dash 2.0 that caters to the micro, low and mid-stakes players. The promotion had first debuted in September. This time, the site will award ₹60 Lakhs in leaderboard prizes to NLHE and PLO cash game players across three Leaderboard Sprints, with ₹20 Lakhs up for grabs in each sprint. A total of 160 places get paid every two weeks, 80 each (Low Stakes – 50 and Mid Stakes – 30) from NLHE and PLO leaderboards. Payouts will like last time be ‘dynamic’ in nature, so the more Baazi Reward Points that players generate, the more they stand to benefit!
The immensely successful target-based promotion – Cash Climb, is also back with its second edition after an eventful month-long run in August. Instead of a leaderboard approach in which players compete against each other, the Cash Climb offers set Baazi reward point targets that players must meet to redeem Real Cash Bonus (RCB). There are five target levels designed for both NLHE and PLO players at the ₹50/₹100, ₹100/₹200, and ₹250/₹500 cash tables.
Completing the trio of cash game offerings is the PLO-4 Leaderboard – an exclusive leaderboard for PLO-4 (Omaha players) that has ₹15 Lakhs in leaderboard prizes up for grabs. With new leaderboards starting every 2 weeks from October 5 – 18, October 19 – November 1, and November 2 – 15, there is ₹5 Lakhs to be won from each Leaderboard.
Instead of Baazi Reward Points, the PLO-4 Leaderboard will work on a new points system based on the number of hands played on each stake – ₹10/₹25, ₹25/₹50, and ₹50/₹100 – with the points awarded for each hand increasing at the higher stakes.
The Cash Dash 2.0 is open for both NLHE and PLO cash game players. There is ₹60 Lakhs in leaderboard prizes to be won, divided equally into three leaderboard sprints with ₹20 Lakhs up for grabs every 2 weeks. All prizes will be awarded in Real Cash Bonus (RCB).
This promotion features two primary leaderboards – NLHE and PLO. Each of these leaderboards has been further divided into two leaderboards across different stakes, namely, the Low-Stakes and Mid-Stakes.
To get ranked on the leaderboards, players need to collect Baazi Reward Points by playing cash games.
NOTE: Both PLO-4 and PLO-5 will be considered while computing points towards the PLO Leaderboards.
Dynamic Payouts
The innovative new leaderboards with “Dynamic” payouts are back. This means that while each Leaderboard features a fixed total prize pool, each paid position’s prize will vary based on the player’s contribution towards the total Baazi Rewards Points generated on that Leaderboard.
For example, let’s take the NLHE Mid-Stakes Leaderboard that features a ₹6 Lakhs prize pool and pays 30 places. If a total of 100,000 Baazi Reward Points are generated by the top 30 players on this Leaderboard, and the top-ranked player generates 25,000 points, then his payout will be calculated as 25,000/100,000 = 25% of the prize pool (₹6 Lakhs) = ₹1.50 Lakhs.
NLHE Leaderboard
The NLHE Leaderboard pays out a guaranteed ₹8.5 Lakhs in RCB every two weeks (14 days), across the Low Stakes and Mid Stakes Leaderboards.
The lowest rung is the Low Stakes leaderboard that promises 50 prizes from a prize pool of ₹2.50 Lakhs, and the highest level here is the Mid Stakes Leaderboard, where the top 30 ranked players get paid from a ₹6 Lakhs prize pool.
Stakes | Blinds | Paid Places | Total Prize (RCB) |
---|---|---|---|
Low Stakes | (1/2 and 2/5 and 5/10 Blinds) | 50 | ₹2,50,000 |
Mid Stakes | (10/25 and 25/50 Blinds) | 30 | ₹6,00,000 |
PLO Leaderboard
Like the NLHE Leaderboard, the PLO Leaderboards vary in prizes for Low Stakes and Mid Stakes Leaderboards, with a prize pool of ₹2.50 Lakhs and ₹9 Lakhs, respectively. Overall, the PLO Leaderboard offers ₹11.5 Lakhs in prizes in every sprint (every 14 days).
Stakes | Blinds | Paid Places | Total Prize (RCB) |
---|---|---|---|
Low Stakes | (1/2 and 2/5 and 5/10 Blinds) | 50 | ₹2,50,000 |
Mid Stakes | (10/25 and 25/50 Blinds) | 30 | ₹9,00,000 |
The ‘Cash Climb’ has also been brought back for a second edition this month. The target-based promotion runs October 5 to November 15, requiring players to meet target Baazi reward points to win RCB. The more targets they meet in a particular segment, the more cash they can win.
The promotion starts today (October 5) and will run all through November 15. Featuring separate prizes for both NLHE and PLO (4-card & 5-card) variants across three stakes – ₹50/₹100, ₹100/₹200, and ₹250/₹500 – players have the freedom to redeem prizes at all stakes for both variants.
There are five target levels, each for PLO & NLHE – T1 to T5. Each target level features a cash prize, with prizes increasing in value as the target level increases. Players can claim all the prizes per game i.e., if a player is aiming for T3, then they can still claim T1 and T2. The points will reset every time they claim a prize, and they are not allowed to claim the same target level prize twice.

This promotion exclusively targets Omaha (PLO-4) players, offering a total of ₹15 Lakhs in leaderboard prizes. The PLO-4 promotion will run three leaderboards from October 5 – 18, October 19 – November 1, and November 2 – 15, awarding ₹5 Lakhs in leaderboard prizes in each of them.
The PLO-4 Leaderboard will operate on a new points system instead of Baazi Reward Points. The top 25 places from each Leaderboard will get at least ₹5,000, while the leaderboard topper will collect ₹80,000 in Real Cash Bonus (RCB).
New Scoring System
Players will be awarded points based on the number of hands they play on each stake – ₹10/₹25, ₹25/₹50, and ₹50/₹100 – with the value of each hand increasing at higher stakes. Only post-flop hands and non-heads-up hands will get counted for this promotion.
At ₹10/₹25 stakes, players will get 1 point for every post-flop hand. This will increase to 2 points/hand at ₹25/₹50 and 2.5 points/hand at ₹50/₹100.
For example, If a player plays 10 hands at ₹10/20, 30 hands at ₹25/₹50, and 100 hands at ₹50/₹100 stakes, he will collect 320 points (10 + 60 + 250).
The idea is to collect the most points to top the Leaderboard!

With a buy-in of ₹11,000, the event will run from 7 PM onwards and allows players the option of multiple re-entries.
