While live and online tournaments are the trend of the season, cash games haven’t been completely forgotten. The poker portal Americas Cardroom (ACR) has decided to host live poker cash game in Costa Rica from September 28 to October 1.
The array of exciting tournaments that have been hosted as part of the 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) roster is fast approaching a grand finale at the 2018 WSOP Europe (WSOPE) stop scheduled to open on October 9. The series will be hosted at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, and is the last WSOP stop for players in contention for the WSOP Player of the Year (POY) race. This year, 10 WSOP gold bracelets will be up for grabs at WSOPE.
Meanwhile, the 2018 XL Eclipse on 888poker is rocking the show on the virtual felts. The series continued its run through the ninth consecutive day where ‘MrDrogo’ claimed the top prize in the $25,000 Knockout while many other events reached conclusion.
The U.S. facing poker site Americas Cardroom (ACR) will host a live poker cash game at the Taormina Hotel in San Jose, Costa Rica starting from September 28 and will wrap up with a weekend party on October 1.
Some of the site’s lucky winners will be able to attend the game, which will be a Cage Event, with a buy-in of $5,250. The Cage Event will play a total of 12 hours, split into four blind levels of three hours each. Therefore, six hours will be played on September 28, and the other six on September 29.
There will be no late registrations or re-entries and all players must remain until the end of the action, unless they are eliminated. When the clock runs out, all chips held by each player can be redeemed for cash.
ACR announced the event via Twitter.

The prize package includes the entry fee, $800 toward airfare, $1,000 in spending money and up to three nights at the Taormina Casino and Hotel. It also includes ground transportation from Juan Santamaria International Airport to the Taormina.
The 2018 World Series of Poker WSOP Europe (WSOPE) is coming to King’s casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, on October 9. The series that will continue till November 2 is one of the most popular European poker tournaments, and this year, there are a total of 10 WSOP gold bracelets up for grabs.
The overall prize pool of the series is a mind-blowing €13 Million (US$15.3 Million) and the €10,300 NLHE Main Event itself features a prize pool of €5 million (US$5.88 million).

This year, the WSOPE is the final frontier before the WSOP Player of the Year race wraps up. At present, Shaun Deeb is at the top of the WSOP POY race with 4,334 points, followed by Ben Yu (3,746) and Joe Cada (3,531). In all this year, he has added over $2.5 Million from WSOP cashes to his bankroll.
