Hey there, poker fans! We are back with a brand-new episode of “The PokerGuru Show.” Deviating from our previous episodes, this time around we have not one but three special guests, all key stakeholders of the three prominent poker leagues in the country, namely, Raj Kundra (Founder of MIPL), Pranav Bagai (CEO of Mind Sports League) and Max Rabinovitch (Head of GPL India)!
Kundra, a well-known entrepreneur and husband of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has been an avid supporter of the mind sport and has also worked tirelessly to establish the poker sports league, Match India Poker League (MIPL). Given the fact that MIPL has already successfully hosted four seasons, his efforts have borne fruit.
Bagai is the co-founder and CEO of the country’s first-ever poker league, Poker Sports League (PSL), and was the one behind the league’s success in the first two seasons. Bagai is also a passionate poker player, having won a few titles back in the day.
Besides being the Global Poker League (GPL) India Project Head, Rabinovitch is also the Chief Strategy Officer at Socios.com. He played a vital role in the making of GPL India Season 1 and is working hard to make Season 2 a reality.
In this candid video chat with our host Aastha Sethi, all three industry veterans talk about their current and future plans, as well as sharing useful insights about the industry and their aspirations for growth.
