The competitively growing domestic online poker space has seen many poker sites launch and fall into oblivion over the past decade. Only a few have endured the test of time. One such long-time operator, PokerHigh, has made an aggressive comeback in an all-new avatar by joining India’s largest poker network, the Quadnet Poker Network, on December 9.

PokerHigh was the third poker site to obtain a poker license from the government of Nagaland in 2016 and was, at one point, bustling with promotional and tournament giveaways. The site had significantly slowed down its marketing activities in the last two years, reportedly to revamp the platform for its poker network – Fair Play Skill Network – in collaboration with Enterra Soft.

However, now that it has joined the Quadnet Poker Network, not only is it sharing the abundant player pool liquidity with an established operator like Spartan Poker and the recently rebranded BLITZPOKER, but even its gaming platform has moved over to the industry-leading Connective Games software.

The site made the announcement across its social media channels.

The site’s network rules state – “Quadnet Poker Network is India’s largest poker network comprising PokerHigh, Spartan Poker, and Blitz Poker.”

An Eventful Past

PokerHigh was among the early entrants in the online poker space in the country. It was the third site to be issued a license for the game under the Nagaland Prohibition of Gambling & Promotion and Regulation of Online Games of Skill Act 2016.

In 2017, PokerHigh partnered with Europe’s biggest poker room, King’s Casino in Rozvadov, to run online satellites for the partypoker Festival Main Event. The same year in November, the site’s parent firm, Quantumskill Gaming and Tech Pvt. Ltd., announced a merger with Ultimate Gaming Technologies Pvt. Ltd. that owned and operated Hippo52. With this move, PokerHigh consolidated its assets with Hippo52.

In 2019, PokerHigh joined hands with the international gaming software firm, Enterra Soft, to revamp the gaming platform for its poker network, Fair Play Skill Network. However, there were no updates on this front after the initial announcement.

On Revamp Mode

PokerHigh’s entry into the Quadnet Poker Network opens up massive player pool liquidity for its players, who now have an abundance of tournament and cash game variants to choose from. Apart from the usual NLHE and the 4-card PLO games that it already offered, PokerHigh now offers PLO-5, PLO-6, and OFC games on the network. The games are available across all stakes for cash game and tournament enthusiasts alongside the other flagship tourneys and promotions running on the network.

Since PokerHigh is now part of the Quadnet Poker Network, all the deposits, and cashouts for PokerHigh will be made by the latter’s parent company Quadrific Media Pvt. Ltd.
