One of the poker pioneers, PokerStars, has a knack for organizing successful online and live tournaments. And in 2023, it has lined up five stops for its Europe-facing live poker series brand, European Poker Tour (EPT). The coming year will be full of opportunities for poker enthusiasts in Europe and abroad as PokerStars has added two brand-new pitstops, including Paris and Cyprus.

PokerStars put out an official video for the 2023 EPT.

The 2023 EPT schedule will comprise five stops, including return visits to Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Prague. The dates for each stop are as follows:

  • EPT Paris – February 15 – 26
  • EPT Monte Carlo – April 26 – May 6
  • EPT Barcelona – August 21 – September 3
  • EPT Cyprus – October 11 – 22
  • EPT Prague – December 6 – 17

Cedric Billot, PokerStars Head of Global Live Event Operations, said, “Having two new iconic locations will help us make players’ dreams in 2023 without any doubt. The first time in the glamorous French capital and another exciting new addition to the tour — Cyprus.”

“It’s the perfect location to add to our schedule, and we look forward to bringing all that an EPT has to offer to this new location.”

“We’re incredibly excited to announce the schedule for The European Poker Tour [in] 2023,” he continued. “We will continue improving the player experience for online qualifications and at our live events.”

The PokerStars-sponsored European Poker Tour will begin with the first of two new EPT stops at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile in Paris, France, in February. The EPT will also debut at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino & Spa in Kyrenia, Cyprus, with a stop in mid-October.

The three returning EPT events, EPT Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Prague, also return to the specific venues that hosted EPT venues in earlier years. Those include, chronologically, the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo, Casino Barcelona, and the Hilton Prague.

The 2022 Autumn slot was filled with a triumphant return of EPT London, but there will be a brand-new EPT location for 2023.

More details about each stop will be released in the coming days.
