The 2021 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague kicked off on March 5 at King’s Casino Prague (formerly known as the Casino Atrium – Hilton Hotel). The €1,100 Eureka Main Event got underway on March 6 and logged in a record-setting 3,155 entries across four starting flights, creating a €3,028,000 prize pool.
PokerStars Ambassador Alejandro Lococo (cover image) was the last player standing and won the Spadie Trophy for €417,820. The Argentinian rapper who goes by the stage name “Papo MC” is a famous social media influencer in South America with an ardent following. He has 2.70 million followers on Instagram, over 2 million on YouTube, and nearly a million on Twitter.
Talking about his career as a rapper and poker player, Lococo said, “I’m a poker player ánd a rapper. It’s two different sensations.”
“Playing the WSOP Main Event gave me an advantage here today. The patience needed in the Main Event, where payjumps ended up in six-figure territory like 200k, half a million, made me feel that there was less pressure here,” Lococo further added.

A total of 469 players finished in the money across the four-day event. Among all who crossed the money line was Spartan Poker Team Pro Nikita Luther. Luther entered Day 1C of the event, advancing to Day 2 with a stack of 81,000.
Even though she entered Day 2 with a short stack, Luther climbed up the ranks fast. She was holding a stack of 820,000 by Level 19 (on Day 2) after doubling up through Arnel Popovic. But by Level 22, she had dropped down to 390,000.
Luther ultimately busted in 109th place, collecting €4,660 for her efforts. She was eliminated by Diomedes Rimon, with her falling to Rimon’s that flopped a Broadway straight on the runout .
Aristeidis Moschonas (57th for €6,940), Joao Ferreira (60th for €6,940), Espen Sandvik (69th for €6,940), Jonas Lauck (72nd for €6,940), and Antoine Vranken (105th for €4,660) were some other notables who finished in the money.

Alexandre Reard had the shortest stint on the FT and fell out in ninth place after his lost out to Bartolomeo Tato’s .
Merijn van Rooij was dismissed in eighth place by Jon Kyte.
Soon after that, Nicolas Cottin joined Van Rooij on the rail. He fell out in seventh place to Alejandro Lococo.
Down to six-handed play, Ville Jantunen jammed from UTG with , and Kyte called from hijack holding . The board ran and Kyte turned pair of queens eliminated Jantunen in sixth place.
About 12 minutes later, Yann Nasser pitted his against Lococo’s . The runout saw Lococo hit a two-pair on the turn, knocking Nasser out in fifth place.
Finishing in fourth place was Jon Kyte. His failed to hold up against Lococo’s that flopped top pair on the board .
The third-place elimination of Jakub Koleckar set up the heads-up match between Alejandro Lococo (59,150,000) and Bartolomeo Tato (35,500,000).
Lococo had a considerable chip lead over Tato, and it took about 30 minutes for him to get the job done.
On the final hand, Lococo limped his button / small blind, and Tato raised to 4 Million. Lococo called to see the flop open . Tato fired a bet of 4.50 Million, and Lococo called again. The turn brought . Tato shoved all-in for 25 Million. Lococo tanked for a while and ultimately dropped a stack of chips forward to signify a call.

Lococo was well ahead of Tato with his flopped pair of Aces, and the river was inconsequential.
