The global online poker giant, PokerStars, had entered the Indian market in 2018, and since then, PokerStars India has worked hard to increase its brand presence in the country. Recognized as one of the premier online poker sites in the country, PokerStars India is known for the value-laden tournaments that it consistently offers its user base along with industry-leading security and anti-collusion safeguards.

Besides hosting big-ticket tourneys and offering lucrative promotions, PokerStars India has now decided to indulge in the ‘spirit of giving’ by announcing a seven-day long series ‘Play For A Cause’ in association with United Way of Chennai during the Daan Utsav week! Running from October 2 to 8, the online poker operator will be hosting a series of charity tournaments, fostering the spirit of donating!

‘Play For A Cause’ Charity Tournament Series | 7 days, 7 charities, 7 causes

This seven-day long series will run a ₹550 entry-buy-in charity tournament every day at 9 PM from October 2 to 8. These daily tourneys promise a ₹50,000 prize pool guarantee.

A portion of the buy-in, amounting to ₹275, will go into the prize pool, while the other, i.e., ₹275, will be kept aside as a donation. All of the players’ contributions will go to charity with PokerStars India matching the charity pool to a maximum of ₹50,000 per event.
