We’re now onto the second month of the smashing-new “Star of the Month” leaderboard race on PokerStars India. The October Finale that took place on November 4 saw Shailesh Patel topping the 100 qualifiers to become the “Star of the Month” – October and win MTT tickets worth ₹1.15 Lakhs.

With the leaderboard now set afresh for November, the results for Week #1 have come in, and topping the 25 qualifiers who have made it to the November Finale is Siddharth ‘siddonuts’ Pandey. Pandey scored in four qualifying tournaments last week, posting FT finishes in three of them. His best performance was his runner-up finish in the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Eliminator on Monday for ₹58,012.

In all, Pandey accumulated 696 points and sits above the likes of Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar (659 points), Young Gun Anmol ‘Kaanchacheena’ Mehta (504 points), Vaibhav ‘vaibsss’ Bhatia (481 points), and Sagar ‘sagarpupull’ Choudhury (456 points) on the qualifiers list.

For the uninitiated, the “Star of the Month” promotion is a month-long leaderboard race taking place on PokerStars India. Players need to accumulate TLB points from cashing in the two daily qualifying tournaments running on PokerStars India. Players need to finish ITM in the 7.30 PM and 10.30 PM tourneys across the week and the 5 PM and 10.30 PM tournies on Sunday to automatically earn points on the leaderboard. Every week the top 25 players qualify for the Finale that assures tournament tickets worth ₹1.15 Lakhs to the winner and ₹35,000 in MTT tickets to the runner-up.
