The four-day series is not short of options, with nine tournaments scheduled daily, including two marquees. With buy-ins ranging from ₹220 and going up to ₹16,500, the upcoming online festival has something for players of all stakes!

While there is a lot of value on offer, the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush-29 Main Event PKO is one tournament bound to tempt many regs to skip their Diwali celebrations for the online grind! The showstopper Main Event starts at 5 PM on Sunday, October 23.

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush-05 Super Highroller is another big-ticket event to watch out for. Sporting a ₹16,500 buy-in, the Super Highroller is the most expensive tournament on the schedule and headlines the opening day proceedings, starting at 8 PM on October 20.

That’s not all! Like in the past editions, PokerStars India will keep tabs on the most consistent winners through the Diwali Rush Leaderboard. Anyone finishing in the money in any Diwali Rush Series event will receive TLB points, and the 50 top-ranked players on the leaderboard stand to collect a share from the ₹2.50 Lakhs in cash prizes, with the leaderboard topper assured ₹55,000.

Diwali Rush Leaderboard

Besides the fantastic tournaments on offer, the Diwali Rush Series will be tracking the most consistent winners at the festival through the ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD Series Leaderboard.

The 50 top-ranked players on the leaderboard will be rewarded for their consistency, with the eventual leaderboard topper collecting ₹55,000.

Diwali Rush Freeroll

For the very first time, PokerStars India’s Diwali Rush Series will be hosting a Diwali Rush Freeroll on October 20. The Freeroll promises Diwali Rush tickets worth ₹50,000.

Note:

• All Diwali Series tickets awarded through the Inaugural Freeroll will expire after October 23 and, if unused, will be forfeited.
• All Diwali Rush tickets to the Super Highroller and the Main Event awarded through the Freebuys are only valid for these events and, if unused, will be forfeited.

Second Chance Freerolls

What is Second Chance Freeroll, you ask? You will be credited with a Second Chance Freeroll ticket if you are knocked out of a Diwali Rush tournament before reaching the money. These are capped at three per player.

The Second Chance Freerolls will run once daily from October 21 to 23.

Note:

• All Second Chance Freeroll tickets awarded through this promotion will expire on October 23 and, if unused, will be forfeited.
• The Diwali Rush event and satellite tickets won in Second Chance Freerolls will expire after October 23, 2022

PokerStars India’s 2022 MTT Series Roadmap

PokerStars India, the India-facing poker arm of global giant PokerStars, turned four in April. Throughout 2022, PokerStars India has hosted numerous flagship MTT festivals and lucrative promotions.

The site kicked off its MTT roadmap with the Winter Series from January 11 to 16. The budget tournament series, Micro Millions, ran from March 8 to 13, followed by the Summer Series from June 3 to 13.

The internationally acclaimed Galactic Series was PokerStars India’s fourth flagship tournament festival of the year and ran from September 1 to 12.

Now, over a month after the Galactic Series concluded, PokerStars India is bringing back the Diwali Rush Series. The previous edition of the Diwali Rush Series ran from November 5 to 8, 2021. The ₹75 Lakhs GTD Diwali Rush-23 Main Event played down to a heads-up deal between two PokerGuru Ambassadors, with teammates Arjanveer Singh Chadha and Ankit Wadhawan chopping the title heads-up for seven figures. Chadha bagged the title for ₹13.32 Lakhs, and Wadhawan collected ₹11.60 Lakhs in second place.
