PokerStars Launches Unique Low-Priced ‘Common Cents’ Tournament With Events Under $1 Buy-In

Dream of making 6-figure payouts with just cents in your pocket? Well, you just hit it lucky!

PokerStars has announced a brand new promo – Common Cents that is exclusively centered around tournaments all costing less than $1!

The promo kicks off on Oct 5 and will last until Oct 11. It will feature 14 tournaments and will have an accumulative prize pool of a minimum of $250,000.

The tournament will start with the Common Cents Kick-Off $100K GTD at 14:05 ET.This will be a freezeout tournament with a huge six-digit guaranteed prize pool and a buy-in of just one cent. The top winner is expected to claim at least $10,000 in prize money.

Thereafter, buy-ins will increase to $0.11, $0.22, $0.33 for subsequent events.

Oct 11 will mark the Common Cents Main Event with its $0.99 at 15.00 ET with a guaranteed $25,000 prize pool.

Several players can look forward to a random ticket to the Main Event, which will be given by PokerStars, making their entry a free one. 500 such tickets per event, leading to a total of 6,500 tickets will be distributed in the first 13 events.

There will also be a leaderboard for the top players, who can look forward to a share of $1000. The top finisher will not only get earnings from each event, but also $100 from the leaderboard competition.
