The first Sunday of the month was an electrifying one! And PokerGuru Ambassadors made quite the impression with two team members, Laksh Pal Singh and Gokul Raj, earning ‘Super Achiever’ badges.
Before we get to their achievements, let’s talk about the biggest-guaranteed event on offer last night, Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire. The mega event was championed by the veteran pro Rajat Sharma for a jaw-dropping ₹16.93 Lakhs, which also happens to be the single-biggest score of the day. Leaderboard crusher Bhanu Prakash locked in the runner-up payday worth ₹9.44 Lakhs (includes three ITM finishes).
The second-biggest score of the day belonged to PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul Raj, who took down Adda52’s DOPT Highroller for ₹15.75 Lakhs. The former SSS Millionaire champion also final-tabled The Millionaire, raking in ₹17.76 Lakhs in Sunday winnings. His stunning Sunday night run helped him cross the ₹5 Crores-mark (₹5.16 Crores) in lifetime winnings.
PokerGuru Staking’s Laksh Pal Singh edged past Manish Lakhotia in the annual rankings after a spectacular Sunday run that saw him collect ₹10.86 Lakhs in winnings, including shipping Spartan Poker’s Sunday SuperStack for ₹7.81 Lakhs. He is now ranked #1 on both the annual cashes and profit leaderboard. Laksh Pal Singh is also the second player after Manish Lakhotia to bank over ₹2 Crores in annual earnings and the only one with over ₹1 Crore in yearly profits.
India`s first WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant joined the Sunday winner’s list for taking down Adda52’s DOPT Epic for ₹5.87 Lakhs, while Amit Kaushik topped PokerBaazi’s BSS Leaderboard after winning the BSS#4 SuperStack for ₹4.57 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker declared a new ‘The Millionaire; champion last night. The ₹5,500 entry buy-in event once again crushed its ₹1 Crore prize pool guarantee with 2,049 entries generating a ₹1.02 Crores prize pool.
Day 2 commenced at 10 PM and lasted till the wee hours of Monday morning (4:54 AM). Out of the 313 qualifying stacks (211 unique) that had advanced to Day 2, seasoned pro Rajat ‘NoPrisoners’ Sharma emerged as the latest The Millionaire champion, banking a whopping ₹16.93 Lakhs top prize.
Rajat Sharma is a seasoned MTT pro and with a long and illustrious online resume. The former private banker has already final-tabled The Elite twice this year, i.e., on April 2 (4th for ₹2.51 Lakhs) and April 7 (5th for ₹2.25 Lakhs). He boasts over ₹1.31 Crores in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker, with almost ₹57 Lakhs in net profits on the site (across three different screen names).
Leaderboard crusher Bhanu ‘spectre’ Prakash missed out on claiming his career-first Millionaire title, instead settling for a runner-up payout worth ₹9.26 Lakhs. Having carried multiple stacks to Day 2, Prakash cashed the event three times, raking in a cumulative ₹9.44 Lakhs.

As we have been repeating over the past few weeks, the competition on the yearly leaderboard, especially between the top three places, has been nothing short of intense. Up until Saturday night, Manish Lakhotia was at the top of the 2021 leaderboard, but PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh has dislodged the Siliguri -based pro after his Sunday wins.
Laksh Pal Singh’s phenomenal Sunday has not only put him back on top of the annual leaderboard but also helped him cross the ₹7 Crores-mark (₹7.10 Crores) in tracked online winnings. With ₹2.08 Crores in yearly earnings, Singh is now the second player, after Manish Lakhotia, to breach the ₹2 Crore milestone in 2021.
The ₹13 Lakhs GTD Money Heist locked in 1,217 entries, surpassing its advertised guarantee by ₹38,700. The anonymous user ‘J.U.B.L.U.U.’ took down the event for ₹2.02 Lakhs, while ‘superjericho300 ‘ came second for ₹1.34 Lakhs.
Spartan Poker’s Ultimate Value Series (UVS) returns for another edition from June 7 to 13, giving the small to mid-stakes players much to rejoice this week.

The inaugural Summer Series has hit the mid-way mark on PokerStars India and leading the charge on Sunday were two ₹20 Lakhs GTD tournaments, namely the Summer Series – 58 Sunday Special and the Summer Series – 61 Sunday Highroller.
The Summer Series – 58 Sunday Special commenced at 5 PM and, after attracting 366 entries, filled in ₹1.70 Lakhs in overlays. Vaibhav ‘GTO_LIFE_GG’ Sharma clinched the title for ₹3.44 Lakhs (includes ₹1.69 Lakhs in bounties) after defeating Himanshu ‘himkat@stars’ Kataria in the heads-up finale. The latter took home ₹2.02 Lakhs (includes ₹26,953 in bounties) in the second-place payout.
Vaibhav Sharma, who had shipped PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller on Friday, added another ITM finish, placing 21st in Adda52’s DOPT Highroller for ₹46,963. He earned ₹3.91 Lakhs overall last night, pushing his lifetime total north of ₹4.89 Crores.
Starting two-and-half hours after the Sunday Special was the Summer Series – 61 Sunday Highroller. The Highroller fared relatively much better, clocking in 196 entries to collect a ₹24.50 Lakhs prize pool. The final table was a star-studded one with some of the most prominent names of the domestic circuit vying for the top honors. In the end, Young Gun Ujjwal ‘CougarHunter69’ Narwal captured the title for a ₹4.86 Lakhs payday, just as Sanchit ‘devilsanchit’ Anand finished runner-up for ₹3.72 Lakhs.

Binoy ‘binoyravjani’ Ravjani won the event for a site-best ₹1.54 Lakhs, and Parth ‘VINAY7690’ Aggarwal finished second for ₹1.08 Lakhs.
The BSS#5 MegaStack commenced at 8 PM and ran till 2:49 AM, posting a ₹7.63 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 305 entries. ‘Realfc’ (anonymity requested) shipped the event for ₹1.68 Lakhs while Dhinesh ‘dhineshrocky007’ Kumar secured the runner-up finish worth ₹76,021.

The third edition of Adda52’s Deltin Online Poker Tournament (DOPT) set the Adda52 felts ablaze with nine players winning DOPT titles and over ₹1.06 Crores in cumulative prize money awarded on Day 1 of the series.
The ₹55 Lakhs GTD DOPT Highroller was the featured tourney of the day. Sporting a ₹27,500 entry buy-in, the high-stakes tourney registered 221 entries, surpassing its listed guarantee by ₹25,000. PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul ‘Niruha’ Raj took down the event for a whopping ₹15.17 Lakhs payday. Rudramani ‘rud1478’ Pokhrel locked in an equally impressive runner-up finish worth ₹8.84 Lakhs.
