What an impactful Sunday it was! Spartan Poker’s ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire was the highlight tourney of the day; however, some fantastic runs from Manish Lakhotia and PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha have entirely revamped the top order of the annual leaderboard standings.

Let’s begin with Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire. The ₹1 Crore GTD tourney was championed by Sanish Chhabra, who won a site-best ₹13.45 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha (runner-up for ₹12.91 Lakhs). Chadha, who was ranked sixth on the yearly leaderboard, has climbed up to the #2 spot after his Sunday run.

Young Gun Sahil Chutani shipped the Adda52 Millions for ₹6.95 Lakhs. He also ran deep in The Millionaire, accumulating ₹8.07 Lakhs overall.

The standout performer of the day was the two-time Millionaire champion Manish Lakhotia. The Siliguri-based pro booked ₹5.76 Lakhs in Sunday winnings, which included shipping PokerBaazi’s BSS#SuperStack for ₹4.20 Lakhs. His trailblazing run has propelled him to the top of the 2021 leaderboard standings, and he currently boasts of ₹6.60 Crores in lifetime winnings.

Vatsalya Rao was another top scorer. He won Adda52’s Mega Suits and ran deep in two more tourneys, accumulating ₹5.71 Lakhs in Sunday winnings.

It took the mystery user ‘041195’ seven hours and 24 minutes to take down the event for ₹2.86 Lakhs, just as Suresh ‘Wabi-$abi’ Kolli finished runner-up for ₹2.33 Lakhs.

The ₹5,500 buy-in tourney gathered 385 entrants, overlaying ₹75,000. After nearly seven hours of play, the Siliguri-based pro Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia topped the field, banking ₹4.20 Lakhs in prize money.
