SBC II PLO Week #2: Vidwath ‘Ph03NiX’ Shetty Leading With Profits of ₹80,000

The Spartan Bankroll Challenge II – Pot Limit Omaha (SBC – PLO) is now in Week #3 and the action has already begun to leave ripples among the remaining players! Announced by Spartan Team Mentor Rohit Bhalla on Sept 26, this challenge was specifically aimed at PLO players, who all started with a bankroll of ₹50,000 to handle the variances of this format. 24 lucky players were chosen and will have to play a mandatory 7,500 minimum hands in 4 weeks, besides making a profit on the bankroll given.

At the end of Week #2, we have 23 players remaining, with only 1 elimination – ‘bunkksterr’. Currently, Vidwath ‘Ph03NiX’ Shetty is leading the profit charts at the end of Week #2, while 14 players are dangerously in the red. But the competition is sure to get hotter, with two more weeks still left.

Top Performers

Vidwath ‘Ph03NiX’ Shetty has taken the top position, with a current balance of ₹1,30,144, thus, showing a profit of ₹80,144. In all, he has played 2,044 hands to date. ‘Ph03NiX’ made his biggest win of ₹21,244.26 on Oct 4 at the “Run it Twice” Omaha (25/50) tables over 51 hands. The biggest hand of the session saw a three-way all-in. ‘Ph03NiX’ ‘akankshsen’ and ‘GanescaTorza’ went all in after the flop .

Bottom Performers

‘bunkksterr’ is the only bust after Week #2 after playing 1,149 hands. His biggest losing session, which cost him his place in the challenge occurred across 27 hands on Oct 9. The fatal hand saw ‘mitarachi89’ with and opponent ‘probuster’ having (a full house, Kings of Three).
