The past three days unfolded some pretty epic high roller action at the Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) Online.
The first-ever running of the series has already recorded an illustrious lineup of winners. One of the more recent entries to this was Spain’s Adrian Mateos, who broke out on the top of a 61-entry field to conquer Event #17: $25,500 Super High Roller for $527,509.70.
This was Mateos’ second final table appearance at the series. He had just a day before, posted a fourth-place finish in Event #14: $25,500 Super High Roller. Outlasting the 40-entry field in the event was the online phenom, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, who has been on a remarkable overdrive at the series. Two titles, a runner-up finish all part of over a dozen scores accounting for north of $1.3 Million in winnings sum up Blom`s phenomenal run at the SHRB Online so far.
Blom had captured his first SHRB Online title in Event #9 $10,3000 High Roller earlier in the week. He banked a whopping $407,500 for his second title win and could have been sitting with three titles had it not been for his narrow miss in Event #2 $25,500 Super High Roller, where he finished runner-up to Christopher Hunichen.
There were four other $10,300 High Roller`s that played out recently, and Linus Loeliger (Event #18: $10,300 High Roller for $237,732.56), Artur Martirosyan (Event #16: $10,300 High Roller for $234,604.50), David Peters (Event #13: $10,300 High Roller for $217,000) and Mark Radoja (Event #15: $10,300 High Roller for $195,000) won top honors in them.
The series is now only two days away from winding up, and the most awaited tournament of the series, the $102,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl, is just a day away. The 8-max freezeout tourney carries a massive prize pool guarantee of $3 Million.
With 61 entries signing up, the $25,500 Super High Roller collected a $1,525,000 prize pool. Rising to the top of a fiercely competitive field was
Adrian Mateos. The Spanish poker maestro beat Seth Davies heads-up to vault into the winner’s seat, locking up a $527,510 payday!
