SHRB Online: Hunichen, Dvoress, Smith, Blom & Bonomo Win High Roller Titles

This is a massive month for online poker, and there`s another debutant online series running at full throttle. We are referring to the first-ever Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) Online that kicked off at partypoker on May 23. Slated to run till June 1, the series features 28 two-day-long high roller events with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 and over $20 Million in prize pool guarantees all across!

The series has already declared 12 worthy champions that include some of the best poker players in the world. Notable pros like Christopher Hunichen (Event #2: $25,500 Super High Roller 8-Max for $479,250), Daniel Dvoress (Event #5: $25,500 Six Max NLHE Super High Roller for $613,986), Dan Smith (Event #8: $25,500 Super High Roller for $527,000), Viktor Blom (Event #9: $10,300 High Roller for $213,750), and Justin Bonomo (Event #11: $25,500 Super High Roller, 6-Max for $622,634) all find mention.

Jans Arends (Event #1: $10,300 High Roller for $216,600), Sergi Lloveras Reixach (Event #3: $10,300 High Roller for $191,750), Mikalai Vaskaboinikau (Event #4: $10,300 Six Max NLHE High Roller for $293,090), Pascal Lefrancois (Event #5: $10,300 Six Max NLHE Super High Roller for $259,628), Luuk Gieles (Event #7: $10,300 High Roller for $234,000), Vicent Bosca Ramon (Event #10: $10,300 High Roller, 6-Max for $240,860), and Ludovic Geilich (Event #12: $10,300 High Roller, 6-Max for $238,676) round out the other winners so far.

 

Event #2: $25,500 Super High Roller 8-Max

The $25,500 Super High Roller 8-Max attracted 54 entrants to generate a prize pool worth $1,350,000. Topping them all was Chris Hunichen, who earned $479,250 – his second-best recorded online score. Hunichen had to face online beast Viktor Blom in heads-up play, and the latter collected $320,625 for his finish.

The $25,500 Six Max NLHE Super High Roller registered 71 entries to collect a lofty $1,775,000 prize pool. Banking the lion’s share was Canada’s Daniel Dvoress, who walked away with $613,986 after defeating Andras Nemeth (runner-up for $399,375) heads-up. Poker prodigy Fedor Holz finished third for $213,000.

Event #8: $25,500 Super High Roller

A total of 68 entries were clocked in the $25,500 Super High Roller, collecting a prize pool worth $1,700,000. Taking down the title was Dan Smith, who padded his bankroll with $527,000.

This was the second near-miss for Viktor Blom, who placed runner-up yet again, banking $365,600.

A prize pool worth $750,000 was generated in the event, and Blom walked away with the most significant piece worth $213,750 after defeating Christoph Vogelsang (runner-up for $146,250) heads-up!

Poker superstar Justin Bonomo claimed his first SHRB online title after championing the $25,500 Super High Roller, 6-Max for $622,634.

The event registered a player pool of 72 entries that helped form a prize pool worth $1,800,000. Bonomo squared off with Artur Martirosian heads-up, and the latter walked away with $405,000 for his runner-up finish.
