The first mega MTT series of 2022, PokerBaazi Classics, is now in the books! The magnum opus of the series, the ₹2 Crore GTD PBC#15 Game Changer, was taken down by Sonu Shejpal for a jaw-dropping ₹25.45 Lakhs. The multi-flight event played down to a four-way deal with Akshay Joshi (2nd for ₹20.34 Lakhs), Avish Sharma (3rd for ₹19.39 Lakhs), and Shivam Khandelwal (4th for ₹18.35 Lakhs) locking in the other seven-figure payouts!

The other PokerBaazi Classics flagship running alongside the Game Changer was the ₹40 Lakhs GTD PBC#14 BSS SuperStack. Kapil Arora took down the event for ₹7.91 Lakhs following a three-way deal with Kanav Parwal (2nd for ₹7.87 Lakhs) and Vaibhav Shah (3rd for ₹6.38 Lakhs)!

Aditya Kumar Patodia trounced Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani (2nd for ₹4.01 Lakhs) heads-up to win Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹6.87 Lakhs. The latter posted a seventh-place finish in the Game Changer, altogether banking ₹9.43 Lakhs!

The two-time Millionaire winner, Manish Lakhotia, sure does know how to hog the spotlight. The #2 ranked player of 2021 won Adda52’s Adda52 Millions title for the fifth time last night and added an impressive ₹8.59 Lakhs to his Sunday tally.

The Millionaire was missing from Spartan Poker’s Sunday line-up for a second consecutive week. The ₹30 Lakhs Sunday Superstack headlined the action instead, and Myron Pereira topped the 374-entry field, bagging a ₹6.24 Lakhs payday after striking a heads-up deal with Siddharth Gangwar (2nd for ₹6.23 Lakhs).

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra championed PokerStars India’s Sunday Special – Progressive KO for ₹3.24 Lakhs, while MPL Poker pro Dhaval Mudgal took down the Sunday Highroller for ₹2.73 Lakhs.

Well-known reg Chirag Sodha joined the list of Sunday winners for shipping Adda52’s Sunday Showdown for ₹2.23 Lakhs. This latest win propelled Sodha’s lifetime online winnings past the ₹6 Crores mark.

Last night, Sankalp Marwah went on a rampage by taking down three back-to-back titles, locking in over ₹1.29 Lakhs in cumulative winnings.

Kiran Kakde, Vinay B, Dhaval Doshi, and Deepak G Jain won the other Sunday marquees.

The multi-flight event crowned a champion in Sonu sonushejpalShejpal, who affixed his name as the fifth Game Changer winner, netting ₹25.45 Lakhs. A four-way FT deal ensured Akshay akdolos Joshi (2nd for ₹20.34 Lakhs), Avish ‘thehorse7’ Sharma (3rd for ₹19.39 Lakhs), and Shivam ‘shivam699’ Khandelwal (4th for ₹18.35 Lakhs) seven-figure payouts.

Kapil ‘Spady’ Arora raced past a 1,223-entry field in the ₹40 Lakhs GTD PBC#14 BSS SuperStack, banking the lion’s share of the ₹61.15 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹7.91 Lakhs. Kanav ‘sokopa’ Parwal (2nd for ₹7.87 Lakhs) and Vaibhav ‘vaibsaarav’ Shah (3rd for ₹6.38 Lakhs) secured podium finishes, courtesy of a three-way deal.

Kapil PoketRockets Sethi took down the event for a ₹1.81 lakhs payday. MTT reg Karan ‘karangogi’ Malhotra (2nd for ₹1.48 Lakhs) and Atul ‘atulkhurana’ Khurana (3rd for ₹1.23 Lakhs) were part of the three-way deal.

The ₹5 Lakhs GTD (6-Max) BSS MonsterStack ran from 5 PM to 10:07 PM and closed out following a heads-up deal between Kiran ‘bhokalishiva’ Kakde and Rising Star Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh, with the former clinching the title for ₹1.66 Lakhs. Parakh banked an equally handsome ₹1.59 Lakhs in second place.

A turnout of 374 entries resulted in a guarantee-crushing ₹37.40 Lakhs prize pool distributed among the final 39 players. Myron ‘mehhhhh’ Pereira made his way to the top after almost eight hours of non-stop play to win ₹6.24 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Siddharth ‘cooking_nuts’ Gangwar (2nd for ₹6.23 Lakhs).
