It’s been a while since we have had a genuinely action-packed Sunday and yesterday was the blockbuster Sunday that the poker community eagerly awaited. There was no shortage of high-octane action with Spartan Poker`s Summer Celebration Series underway and PokerBaazi hosting the #BB6 MoneyMaker.

Headlining the Sunday winners was India`s first WSOP solo bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer. The Young Gun clinched the #BB6 MoneyMaker title for a third-best career finish worth 17.50 Lakhs. He ended the night with 19.01 Lakhs, pushing his overall winnings north of the 6 Crores mark, thereby earning another “Super Achiever” badge!

Saransh Garg finished runner-up in #BB6 MoneyMaker for 12.26 Lakhs.

The former APT Main Event champion Subhayan Das made his way back into the spotlight after taking the 1 Crore GTD SCS #23 – High – Mega Celebration for a career-best 18.61 Lakhs. Veteran pro Sumit Sapra came in second for 10.96 Lakhs and cumulatively added 14.12 Lakhs through his smashing Sunday run.

Young Gun Arsh Grover (Won SCS#20 – High Sunday Celebration for 7.58 Lakhs), Bhavyajeet Singh Rathore (Won SCS #22 – Mid – Main Event for 2.73 Lakhs), Alok Pawar (Won SCS #17 – Mid for 73,777), Rising Star Aman Parakh (Won SCS #19 – Mid for 63,450), Ayush Goyal (Won SCS #16 – Low for 36,000), Amit Kaushik (Won SCS #24 – Low – Reloaded for 34,052) and Vinay Choudhry (Won SCS #21 – Low – Centurion for 19,973) won the other SCS titles on Sunday.

Rahul Singhroha was the last player standing in the Adda52 Millions and walked away with a personal-best 7.67 Lakhs. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan finished runner-up for 4.65 Lakhs. Wadhawan’s Sunday run saw him collectively raking in 6.65 Lakhs, making him the latest entrant in the “9 Crore Club.”

The former IOPC – The Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag Srivastava was in stellar form last night as he took down PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack (3.30 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s Sunday Highroller (2.61 Lakhs) for the third time each, cumulatively adding 6.45 Lakhs!

Vinay B took down Adda52’s Mega Suits for 5.19 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with leaderboard crusher Vinay Rajpal (2nd for 4.11 Lakhs). The latter not only finished runner-up in the Mega Suits but also chopped the BSS SuperStack four-way for a total take-home worth ₹7.67 Lakhs!

Saurabh Rohila championed PokerStars India`s Sunday Special for 2.72 Lakhs, and Amit Kaushik finished runner-up for 1.87 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Nadeem Basha, Neel Haria, Vaibhav Arora, Abhijeet Kumar, Sushil Kumar Saran, Akash Punshi, Alok Kumar, Himanshu Kataria, Abhiroop Gupta, Manish Jangid, PokerGuru Ambassador Sanchit Anand, and Partho Datta won the other Sunday marquees.

The multi-flight event sporting a buy-in of ₹8,800, logged in 1,299 entries across four starting flights, generating a massive ₹1.03 Crores in the prize pool.

Day 2 commenced at 10 PM last night, with 180 entrants (143 unique players) returning to contend for the grand prize. After almost five hours of non-stop play, the former APT Main Event champion Subhayan ‘arjun2424’ Das came out on top to win the title outright for a career-best ₹18.61 Lakhs.
