With many top players attending the NPS India Awards Night in New Delhi on Saturday, traffic in weekend tournaments dipped. However, players rushed back for the massive grind with PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker and Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire scheduled for Sunday.

Spartan Poker user “AllwaysTilting” has been on a rampage recently, with six title victories this past month. And he improved that count to seven with a victory march in Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire for a whopping ₹16.65 Lakhs. The mystery player won at least ₹17.59 Lakhs from three stacks in the weekend flagship, banking the top score of the day.
Deepak Singh (2nd for ₹9.13 Lakhs) (won ₹9.88 Lakhs overall), and Sreekanth Narayan (3rd for ₹6.30 Lakhs) (won ₹6.62 Lakhs overall) round out The Millionaire podium.
India`s poker superstar Aditya Agarwal made an impressive comeback after a self-imposed hiatus due to a mild COVID bout. The Kolkata-born player won PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker 33.0, earning a site-best ₹13.20 Lakhs after defeating Gaurav Bhandari (2nd for ₹8.10 Lakhs) heads-up. Thanks to the ₹13.41 Lakhs in Sunday winnings, Agarwal has climbed to #6 in the POY rankings and crossed ₹7 Crore in tracked online winnings and ₹2 Crores in profits.
Spartan Poker user ‘PresentSIR’ won the Sunday Superstack title, achieving a personal best ₹7.55 Lakhs in first-place prize money (won ₹7.65 Lakhs overall). Myron Pereira finished runner-up for ₹5.08 Lakhs (won ₹5.92 Lakhs overall).
Tanmay Benara emerged victorious in the Adda52 Millions, banking ₹6.95 Lakhs (won ₹7.13 Lakhs overall). The #3 ranked player of the year, Ankit Wadhawan, placed second for ₹4.06 Lakhs (won ₹4.51 Lakhs overall).
Sahil Chutani, the most profitable player of 2022, dominated the competition in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) BSS Championship, securing the top prize of ₹5.30 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with Aditya Singh (2nd for ₹4.61 Lakhs), the latter adding a whopping ₹10.18 Lakhs (at least) from four deep runs.
