It was a blockbuster Sunday on all counts, with the second edition of the PokerBaazi Classics and Spartan Poker’s expansive Sunday schedule dishing out massive prizes! WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant was undoubtedly the ‘Star of the Day!’ The Young Gun has many achievements under his belt, including a shiny gold bracelet. Adding to his long list of accomplishments, Sushant became the first player to win PokerBaazi`s The MoneyMaker for the second consecutive time! The Chennai-based pro, who is currently in Mexico, trounced the 1,123 entry-field in PokerBaazi’s PBC#1 The MoneyMaker (the 13th MoneyMaker) to win ₹19.10 Lakhs and made away with a whopping ₹20.46 Lakhs across his Sunday run!
‘gora981’ finished runner-up for ₹13.39 Lakhs, while former The Millionaire winner Rishab Malik cashed ₹8.68 Lakhs in third place. Malik rounded off his Sunday run with ₹10.03 Lakhs in total winnings.
The other marquee event on the opening day of the PokerBaazi Classics 2.0, PBC#2 BSS Monsterstack, crowned a winner in Vivek Malik. Malik took down the event for a career-best ₹6.30 Lakhs, picking up his first title in almost 21 months! The first-ever THC Main Event champion Abhimanyu Mittal finished runner-up for ₹4.41 Lakhs (collectively added ₹5.42 Lakhs across five ITM finishes).
MPL Poker pro Siddharth Karia shipped Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack for ₹7.96 Lakhs. The FTS 2.0 Main Event champion cumulatively added an impressive ₹8.24 Lakhs last night. PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha pocketed ₹5.29 Lakhs for his runner-up finish in the Sunday Superstack.
The poker streamer Bhushan Sohani also hit the Sunday jackpot, lapping up ₹4.24 Lakhs through five deeps, which includes shipping Spartan Poker’s Armageddon for ₹3.40 Lakhs. He struck a three-way deal with the former The Millionaire champion Sanish Chhabra (2nd for ₹3.18 Lakhs) and Vinay Rajpal (3rd for ₹3.06 Lakhs).
Well-known reg Shashank Jain outlasted the 249-entry field in Adda52’s Sunday headliner, Adda52 Millions, to grab the ₹6.50 Lakhs top prize. Arun Sriram pocketed ₹3.88 Lakhs in second place.
Gokul Raj ended an over three-month-long title drought by taking down Adda52’s Mega Suits for a second time, banking ₹5.20 Lakhs. He made away with ₹5.42 Lakhs altogether last night.
